Tarte Pampered Amazonian Clay Blush Review & Swatches
Tarte Pampered Amazonian Clay Blush is one of the new, exclusive blush shades included in the Tarte Sweet Indulgences Gift Set that debuted yesterday on QVC. Since my review didn’t include swatches of the shade on cheeks I decided to feature it in its own review.
Take a look!
The most exciting part about the Tarte Sweet Indulgences Gift Set was the fact it contains two full size, exclusive shades of blush. I believe at some point perhaps for Spring 2015 you’ll see these shades pop up as part of the permanent Tarte Collection but as of now the only place you can get them is in the gift set.
Like everyone else I love the Amazonian Clay Blush formula so I was happy to add two new shades to my collection. Pampered is described as soft melon but on my skin tones it’s more of an orange-y peachy coral. It lacks shimmer and has a soft almost satiny matte finish but provides a nice luminous peach on my cheeks. It does have a drier texture and it felt a little chalky but it applied easily enough and lasted for a solid 12 hours on me without fading!

The color does seem similar to a few Tarte Blush shades I already own but it’s easy enough to see the difference ones applied. The nice thing about the shade is it’ll look differently across skin tones so warmer tones might find it adds warmth to cheeks as well as color where as cooler tones might feel it adds a cool burst of peach to cheeks with a nice luminosity. The color has a knack for deepening or sheering out and varies from skin tone to skin tone or at least that’s how I feel since I’ve seen it on my own skin tone, my sister’s, and also my best friend’s and each of us vary in skin tones!
If you grabbed the Tarte Sweet Indulgences Gift Set you can look forward to getting your Tarte Pampered Amazonian Clay Blush in the set soon!
