Becca Beach Tint Shimmer Souffle Review & Swatches
Becca Beach Tint Shimmer Souffle launched this past Summer in six rather stunning shade selections. The promo images, if you recall, were simply amazing (but highly misleading) for this collection with model’s sporting incredibly flushed cheeks.
Becca Beach Tint Shimmer Souffle are one of those products that visibly looks amazing but doesn’t quite live up to what your eyes are seeing!
Becca Beach Tint Shimmer Souffle ($27) are available in six permanent shades and come housed glass jars with silver mirrored tops. They are marketed as a four in one formula that adds a flush of color to cheeks. According to the description powder adds a pop of color, stain gives staying power, and cream provides a flawless, illuminating finish. Basically they combined elements from Beach Tint with Shimmering Skin Perfector to create a complexion enhancing highlighter. Although for me they are most definitely a cream texture so not sure where powder comes into play here.
These have a gorgeous marbelized effect in the pot as you can see. I only tried two shades but I feel safe saying they are a cream highlighter and that’s about it. I get a lot of shimmery glow from them that’s quite pretty. The formula is a souffle-like texture but isn’t thin or creamy. It has a rich, thick base which blends out easily. Personally I was actually disappointed a little bit as promotional images show models with really fantastic pops of color on their cheeks. This is a little misleading because I get a lot of luminous, almost frosty shimmer on my cheeks and face but not a lot of color. I expected them to provide not only a highlighting effect but also color as advertised.

Sad sigh!
At $27 each you might want to indulge in the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes because at the very least you get color with these where as the Becca Beach Tint Shimmer Souffle are merely a shimmery highlighter. If they promoted these as a highlighter only I’d probably be happier but suggesting they give cheeks gorgeous color as well as a highlighting effect does disappoint. Perhaps a very light skin tone might seen the benefits of the product being both a blush and a highlighter but I sadly did not!
These turned into a big miss for me. They just didn’t quite live up to their description.
