Missha Soft Blending Stick Blusher Review & Swatches
Missha Soft Blending Stick Blusher is one of new favorite cream blushes of the moment and that’s saying something because I’m NOT a cream blush fan. I dunno what it is but cream blush fade super quickly on me so I tend to stay away from them.
But how could I resist the Missha Soft Blending Stick Blusher? It has a cute little blending brush on one end and the blush on the other and yeah, I’m game to admit that the brush kinda made me want to purchase the blush stick. Shrug, irrational purchasing reason at its best!
Missha Soft Blending Stick Blusher is a newly launched blush stick in Korea that should be arriving in the US soon I’m sure but for now you can get it from my trusty and favorite seller on Ebay, F2Plus1.
Missha Soft Blending Stick Blusher is actually shaped a lot like the recent Pur Minerals Chateau Stain which launched this Summer as both are a dual ended blush stick that has a brush (or in Pur’s case a sponge) on one end for blending and the cream blush on the other. I love the brush and I’ll make plenty of use of it well after the blush is gone. It’s a short bristled brush with dense but soft bristles. I actually started using it to blend concealer under my eyes and to apply my tinted moisturizer. Is that bad? Haha! It’s just a really convenient little brush to have around!
I purchased two shades and I’d highly advice again grabbing the Skin Coral which is a light creamy orange that comes across very chalky on skin. No like! This isn’t coral at all but the traditional orange shade many Korean brands launch in their blushes (if you use Korean makeup you’ll know exactly what I mean). I never understood this light orange shade because it really seems a shade that’s unflattering on so many skin types. I also got Rose Pink and thankfully this is a lovely rosy pink that’s very wearable 🙂

The blush formula is creamy, easy to blend, and has a flawless, smooth look on skin. I had no issues with it clinging to my drier skin and it had a very seamless look with a satin finish. The blush is a little bit of a hybrid because although cream they actually blend out to more of a powder formula that also looks like a powder on skin. They wear considerably long which is abnormal for me because as I mentioned above creams simply don’t last on me. On a warmer day I can get about six hours before seeing fading!
If you’re a lover of cream blush I don’t see a reason you simply won’t love these. They have a lovely formula and give cheeks a very nice pop of color. I’d avoid the coral though as that shade just wasn’t all that great in my humblest.
