Yes to Blueberries Age Refresh Foaming Facial Cleanser Review
Yes to Blueberries Age Refresh Foaming Facial Cleanser ($9.99) is a new antioxidant rich foaming face cleansing launching at drugstores now for Fall 2015. When I started Musings of a Muse one of my favorite cleansers of choice was Kose Airy Whip. It was rather a novel idea really way back then considering brands in the US didn’t really have foaming facial cleansers. Late on down the road Clean & Clear introduced Makeup Dissolving Foaming Cleanser which I equally loved.
I dunno what it is but foaming cleansers are just a favorite of mine!
Let’s take a look!
Yes to Blueberries Age Refresh Foaming Facial Cleanser ($9.99) is formulated with a blend of fruit extracts such as blueberries that apparently help fight the signs of aging! It also contains chamomile as a calming herbal extract.
This comes housed in 5 oz pump bottle that reminds me of antibacterial soap kinda. Shake it up and pump a bit of foam into wet hands and massage onto your wet face! I think the reason that I love foaming cleansers so much is they lather up really, really well. I small amount creates mounds of lather and I just feel like they really work at giving skin a nice deep cleanse courtesy all that lovely lather. Of course, that’s probably not the case at all but I do come out of the experience feeling squeaky clean so whatever works right?
Now Yes to Blueberries Foaming Facial Cleansing is lovely stuff and it does great at cleansing my skin without drying it out. I wouldn’t say it added moisture but it didn’t strip either which is a plus. However, for those sensitive to fragrance just beware as this is has a very heavy herbal fragrance! It kinda reminds me of a chamomile and lavender blend or at least that’s what my nose picks up! Sadly, it does not smell like juicy blueberries 🙂
If you’re a foaming facial wash kinda girl or guy that doesn’t mind heavy fragrance you might just like Yes to Blueberries Age Refresh Foaming Cleanser!
It’s available now at drugstores or grab it at drugstore.com.
