Manic Panic Jem and the Holograms Hair Color

I was in the middle of a Harmon’s makeup aisle last night texting Dustin Hunter and he was telling me he had purchased some new hair color. This morning I opened my e-mail up and I was thinking, “Boy, you should have waited!” because like me, Dustin is all about the 80’s so of course he’d want to get his hands on the new Manic Panic Jem and the Holograms Limited Edition Hair Color.

I’m a Jem girl. Loved the cartoon not sure I’m impressed with the Jem Movie but I’m all ABOUT the Sephora Jem and the Holograms Makeup Collection yes, I am.

So now I kinda sorta wanna buy these new Manic Panic Jem and the Holograms Limited Edition Hair Color Dyes because they have such great packaging!

Take a look they are truly outrageous!

The Manic Panic Jem and the Holograms Limited Edition Hair Color Dye Collection consists of four different shades each of which represents a character from the series with retro throwback artwork. Jem, Kimber, Aja, and Shana all make an appearance on a bottle that represent their hair shades.

Jem’s shade is obviously pink, Kimber’s is orange red, Aja gets turquoise, and Shana violet!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

I wonder if it’s actually new shades or just a repackaging of some of the old ones 😛

I LITERALLY SQUEED WHEN I SAW THIS POST. Literally. A noise came out of my head like someone deflating a high-tension helium filled piglet. Farewell, paycheck, it was nice knowing you!

Yah, the movie looks like it completely misses the point, but I think you’ve read the comic, right? ~awesome~

    • Isabella Muse

Yes I DO read the comics ;-D I think you and I had discussed it before! ugh loves it. 🙂 sad about the movie but what can ya do! haha glad to see you’re excited about these 😀

  • shana

so I’ve been wanting to dye my hair violet for awhile now….and seeing as it’s LITERALLY calling my name….

    • Isabella Muse

yay! 😀 and your name matches her name, ok so maybe I’m the only one excited that your name is Shana and you’re dying your hair purple *shifty eyes* 😀

  • Stephanie G

Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve wanted to BE Jem. So I think I need these. 😉

  • Andrew

That’s awesome! I just hope the makeup collection launches soon so I can snag some stuff for my sister’s birthday October 9th. I love how all the holiday stuff is up before the fall launches are finished (sarcasm, by the way). I went to Walgreen’s a few weeks ago to scout Halloween merch and it was bare bones, but Christmas decorations were everywhere waiting to be sifted through.

    • Isabella Muse

I believe it launches the 23rd apparently to coincide with the movie but I hope it comes sooner! omg my walgreens is the same thing!

  • Kristin

I’m a child of the 80’s too- I remember watching Jem every day on TV. And yes, I *still* have all of my Jem/Holograms/Misfits dolls!

  • Maria A

I had all the dolls and I still do from when I was a kid. : ) Now my 5ys old daughter plays with them

  • Jeanine McAuliffe

I grew up thinking I was JEM..my initials are actually jem..haha. Love these! Thanks for the post

  • Shek

I’m looking forward to the Sephora collection, but the movie trailer makes me CRINGE! It’s such an 80’s show that you can’t make it work for 2015. They should have just left the Jem branding out of it and just have it be a totally new movie. I have the complete series so I will just rewatch that and relive my childhood.

  • Michelle Anne

I /knew/ there was a reason why I was thinking of dyeing my hair either pink or purple again. I totally need to get these!
