If Only Instyle Fragrances ActiveEssence Really Lasted 12 Hours

I recently came across a display of Instyle Fragrances ActiveEssence Fragrance Mists at Walgreens. Apparently these have been around a while but this is the first time I noticed them! As an avid fan of Calgon, Bath and Body Works, and Victoria’s Secrets Body Mists I’m always looking for new ones to try. Why? Because I’m on the hunt for a formula that actually wears long! I have yet to discover that formula but surely Instyle Fragrances had they key to my success with the promise of a 12 hour wearing fragrance mist.

Say word!

Well, you need not hear me tell you that these do not last 12 hours you like already guessed they didn’t! But, of course, this should be taken with a grain of salt because body chemistries differ and you might just fine that this wears long and strong on you versus me.

I purchased Tropical Coconut Coast which was an odd, synthetic coconut fragrance that had a weird medicine-y underlay. I really wasn’t pleased with the fragrance at all but I was determined that I’d wear it and get 12 WHOLE hours out of it.

On the initial application it’s already a rather weak scent so I had my doubts it would last a full 12 hours. Of course, I was right. You might get a little hint of coconut here and there throughout the day but no way is this wearing for nearly 12 hours.

But I’ll just imagine for a brief moment it did. I’d truly be in heaven if I could get away with using a body mist and having it wear for at least eight hours and not even 12 hours, I won’t be greedy, but at least eight without the need for layering would be awesome. That’s my dream. I think I’m going to be the one to create one that does and get rich.

But for now, I guess I’ll have to keep hunting.
