Pur Minerals HydraGel Lift Because Your Eyelids Are Dry!

Pur HydraGel Lift

Dry eye lids? Is your eye primer pilling due to that dryness? You need Pur HydraGel Lift ($26) my friend!

Pur Minerals HydraGel Lift hydrating, cooling eye primer. YES! Hydrating! Typically we get our share of creamy primers but none of them really promise moisture! Some promise to mattify oil lids but hydrate? Not really. Eye primer is eye primer and most formulas concentrate on keeping our eyeshadow locked into place but not necessarily much else.

Hydragel Lift takes things further. It hydrates the lid (and if you so please under your eyes as well) so lids looks smoother, brighter, firmed, and more lifted. If your lids aren’t dry but your under eyes are you can swipe this little guy under your eyes in preparation for concealer to add not only moisture but also to firm and smooth the area.

Eye sticks like this aren’t necessarily a new thing but the fact it preps lids as well as under eyes is new and interesting!

What do you think?

Pur Minerals HydraGel is available now at Ulta.com.

Other than hydration, how well does it function as an eyeshadow primer? Are colors more vibrant? Prevents creasing? Easy texture to blend shadow over?

Or would I use this first and THEN use normal shadow primer? I have sensitive eyelids very prone to dryness so I typically save primers for special occasions but if this helps that would be wonderful!

I’m not sure Maggie. It literally just launched today so I haven’t tried it yet.

It didn’t launch today (except I guess at Ulta). It’s been available on their website and at Kohls for … well, I don’t know how long but at least awhile. ReadySetGlamour recommends this product for under eye wrinkles/creases/etc. I’ve had it on my wish list since she suggested it, but now that you’ve let me know it’s at Ulta, that wish list is about to become a reality!

Ooops! Sorry! Thanks for clarifying Tina! This is the first time I had heard of it!

Oh interesting! I have had the same problem you’ve talked about in the past with odd little dry patches randomly on my lids, mostly in winter.
Look forward to hearing more on this one 🙂 hope it can deliver a better dose of moisture than the usual.
