Fortune Cookie Soap Fall 2016 Soap Box Takes On Princess Bride
The Fortune Cookie Soap Fall 2016 Soap Box takes on the ultimate fandom, Princess Bride! I’m not even going to get into the amount of times I’ve watched and rewatched and watched again the Princess Bride. I can recite every single line of that film and possibly play the part of Inigo Montoya.
This year we get to relive our love of the film and the characters with the Fortune Cookie Soap Fall 2016 Collection! On August 26th at 6PM CST you’ll be able to join Fortune Cookie Soap’s Fall launch party and purchase the As You Wish Collection.

This is a pretty darn exciting box as it not only includes the normal round of Fortune Cookie Soap bath goodies but also includes some new skin care products like the soft, quick to absorb Knight Cream Facial Moisturizer as well as the brand new True Love Facial Cleansing Oil that has a pretty citrus and jasmine fragrance. Pour some in your hands, massage onto your skin, rinse, and Wesley may or may not be present when you open your eyes to grant your heart’s desires. At best your makeup will be removed so, don’t get your hopes up to high.
What else is in this box?
A sparkling little fortune cookie soap with Inigo Montoya’s sword embedded in. I did whip it out of the soap directly and pranced around the room with it shouting, “Hello my name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die!” But in doing so I got gold glitter everywhere. Be warned this little soap is partially covered in it. Did I mention it smells ridiculous good? Just like Fall! It’s a delicious, hearty honey apple mead scent.
Speaking of preparing to die, get those germs to die off your hands with OCD Hand Sanitizer in the scent, what else, Prepare to Die. Fresh baked cookies spiked with clove and saffron give off a yummy just baked Fall scent.
Now if nothing else, one of my favorite scenes in the movie features Wallace Shawn, as Vizzini, or better known as the guy that shouts INCONCEIVABLE! And what better way to celebrate Vizzini than with his own perfume oil! This complex blend of whipped vanilla cream has notes of woods, black amber, and pear! It quite smells like Universal Voodoo’s Sticky Fingers! It’s truly the quintessential warm autumn scent that reminds me of Halloween!
Vizzini ended up Mostly Dead well, all dead really, (so did Wesley for that matter! Oops spoilers!) and so does this Whipped Cream Body Butter! But I promise, it doesn’t smell dead. This quick absorbing whipped up body butter is as light as air and contains notes of golden honey drizzled over pumpkin and almonds with a flourish of warm amber. Yum!
And finally one of my favorite products, Steam Me Up Scotty in Pit of Despair because what’s a romantic adventure without a pit of despair! So, what’s Steam Me Up Scotty? A bath bomb for your shower! I love bath bombs as much as the next person but sometimes I don’t always have time to sink into my tub and relax. I can toss this little Steam Me Up Scotty into the back of my shower stall and as the water hits it, it fizzes up and released a lovely fragrance. This one is a blend of fresh cut lemongrass, plumeria, and a dark patchouli note.
Oh wait, this fairy tale isn’t over! I almost forget the lovely and most important Princess Buttercup! She has her own shampoo! With an enticing, warm blend of rum, fig, bergamot, vetiver, sandalwood, and delicious vanilla musk.
