Philosophy Orange Cocoa & Cream Possibly Forged in Hell

Philosophy Orange Cocoa & Cream

Fans of Terry’s Chocolate Orange brace yourself because there’s a new Philosophy Orange Cocoa & Cream 3-in-1 Shower Gel available! I happen to be a firm believer that Terry’s Chocolate Orange was forged in hell by the devil himself. I hate the taste, the scent, everything about it is simply gross to me.

But I realize it has a certain cult following! I just think oranges and chocolate together are not a marriage most happy. But if you’re a fan you’re sure to enjoy Philosophy’s new fragrance that combines smooth, silky dark chocolate with juicy, sweet blood orange.

QVC.com gets first dib on the newest fragrance and includes in a set with a shower gel as well as two body souffles.

I still say it’s the work of the devil!

But grab it if you must!

P.S. It’s been so long since Philosophy has done any new fragrances! This could be a good thing because my shower gel outweighs my makeup collection, people! But remember, every season had a new Philosophy Shower Gel Collection? Fall, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Halloween….! Hmm! Why no new ones lately? But I’m not complaining because I have plenty to use up 🙂

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. This excites me! I am also a lover of Philosophy products and totally agree that there has been a big hole with no new flavors. I miss the regular holiday releases! But alas, my body product collection is massive like my make-up collection, so the lack of new products has allowed me to use up a couple of bottles. I still have so many that I’m afraid they’ll go bad before I get to them all! What are the favorites that you wish they’d bring back? For me, it’s red licorice, strawberry milkshake and candy corn!

    • Isabella Muse

Right? It seems ages since they did something new. I only see them release maybe one or two new scents a year nowadays! I wish they would bring back Squishy Red Fishy, Sugar Plum Fairy and Autumn Air!

  • Carol G

I’m with you: orange and chocolate, never the two shall meet. This sounds gross. But hey, different strokes for different folks!

    • Isabella Muse

ugh hate it so much but yes true, someone must love it because Terry’s has a massive cult following!

  • CC

Haha! I’ve never tried as it doesn’t a-peel hehe to me, but I did get this is a set and its Okaaaaay. Not spectacular, but lightly scented and nice.

Do you remember those weird round candies that you smacked and they broke into what looks like a cut up orange? yuckers. I had the misfortune of actually getting the shower gel in a set from QVC some time ago. So this actually isn’t brand new, brand new. But, back it went. It’s smells as bad as it sounds. I too, am obsessed with all things body and I had to try this against my better judgement. Philosophy has not been the same since it was bought by Coty. I use to love their one note shower gels, I.e. Cinnamon Buns. Stop playing chemist Philosophy, and go back to your old formula and come out with scents that are not so strange. And for the love of all things, enough with the Fresh Cream. Thank you. I am done with my rant. 🙂

    • Isabella Muse

No! What were they called? I like the smacking part ;-D get out my frustrations on candy lol! I thought so, it sounds awful! I’m just terrible with orange and chocolate, makes me gag! ;-D LOL! I don’t like Fresh Cream, it smells like wet dog to me!

      • Jennifer

Oh goodness, I will check on the internet about the chocolate. Maybe some of your followers know what I’m talking about. It was awful. Just awful. I’m with you on the Fresh Cream. Yuck.

Got it. Terry’s Chocolate Orange. It’s on
Wal-mart .com for $57.00 dollars. And it has a perfect 5 star review. WTH, people? For 57$ I could get some damn good chocolate from Paris. Not a lot of it, but it would be good. Different strokes for different folks.

          • Jennifer

Yeah, but 57$. Are they cray, cray? I don’t get it. That’s what gets me!

You know me, Muse – I am a great lover of the Terry’s choc oranges! 😀 I remember when Yves Rocher had a cocoa orange line one holiday (pretty sure I found it due to a post you made) and I stocked up. I might have to see if I can grab some of these. After all, there’s always room in the cupboard for more shower gel, right? Right?! 😀

    • Isabella Muse

I ACTUALLY LIKED the Yves Rocher one Nat 😀 which surprised me ;-D Always room for shower gel! 😀

      • Kimmwc03

The Yves Rocher stuff was good; if this smells like that then I want it.

I like the Terry’s chocolate oranges at Christmastime. 🙂

  • dia

Mmmm I am all over those chocolate oranges! They’re so fun to smash.

Is anyone else relieved when things get released that they aren’t into? Thank goodness- I’ve got enough to covet. Like, contouring and glittery eyeshadows aren’t my thing so the fact that they’re trendy now is giving me a break!

    • Isabella Muse

smash yes, eat no ;-D haha! Oh yes! I am! I’m always like thank god money saved haha!

  • Kathy Agel

This stuff sells like crazy when they show it on the philosophy shows. I’ll stick with my Fresh Cream, thanks. I love chocolate (and chocolate with orange-flavored filling is delicious — Russell Stover has one that’s to die for), but I don’t want to smell like either one.

  • Susan

I loved Squishy Fishy!! Had a 32 oz. Liked Bubbly, too. Margarita is a fave. I still have a chocolate flavor, forgot name, and a cinnamon something to use up.

  • Mariele Storm

The real question: did you draw that devil yourself? Lmao, love it.

(I’ve got eczema, so most scented things are a no-no. :’) I can mostly stick to perfumes and candles, haha.)

    • Isabella Muse

haha I’m not that talented, my artistic skill is limited to stick figures!
