SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Extra-Moisturizing Detangler

I have an addiction to detangler mists which would likely be why I recently indulged in SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Kids Extra-Moisturizing Detangler. But I promise it’s not just for kids even though the label says KIDS.

I have so many detangler mists in my stash it is absurd! But I have long, wavy hair and they are always a treat to mist on to soften and smooth my hair. Typically directly out of the shower I’ll squeeze excess water on, mist myself with a detangler, and proceed to put my hair up in a towel as I dress. After I can shake out my hair from the towel and easily brush through tangles. I find these mists soften my hair up while gently hydrating it which makes it easier to comb through!

I happen to be a huge fan of SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus’s fragrance! It’s a sweet fruity mix that reminds me of the tropics! So, when I recently saw this SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Extra-Moisturizing Detangler I decided to pick it up just because I knew I’d love the scent. It really does lightly scent your hair as well as acts to lightly hydrate it and prevents tangles.

The formula is a super light, refined mist that doesn’t add stickiness to your hair nor build up. It mists on gently and seems to help with some of my frizz as my hair looks smoother and feels softer every single time I use it.

Yeah, it’s meant for kids but SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Extra-Moisturizing Detangler is not just for kids! You can totally get away with using this fabulous formula for yourself!

Loves it!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Impressive ingredients! I bet this would be great as a curl refresher, too. *puts on list for the next trip to Target*

That is a great tip (spritz out of the shower before towel wrap)! I will try it with my DD. She has looong, fine but thick hair and we get dreads if we’re not vigilant! Our go-to, if you haven’t tried it, is Devacurl Detangler. It’s truly a life saver but expensive! I’ll try this one after our stash is done. Thanks!!

That’s what I always do with detanglers 😀 It’s a great way to allow it to soak in 😀 Devacurl I haven’t tried! Will add that to my list 😀 Have you tried Kinky Curl Come Clean? It’s not a detangler but man that stuff is awesome for getting out build up!

I just picked up this one AND the Carol’s Daughter Black Vanilla one at WalMart last night (overkill, I know). My hair is looking so frizzy these days and I’m hoping these will help.
