Pupa is one of Europe’s cutest makeup treasures. This Italian brand is well known for their delightfully cute makeup palettes that are like Transformers for makeup lovers. Or if you’re as old as some people, ahem, me, you might remember Sweet Secrets as that’s what Pupa always reminded me of! I had them all because my older sister spoiled me rotten so, yeah, totally had every single Sweet Secret including the jewelry box that turned into a house.

Anyway, I used to be obsessed with Pupa. They actually evolved considerably over the years and the cutesy makeup palettes turned into more of a Kiko-like makeup experience with many of their latest offering easily accessible in Singapore, Taiwan, and Japan but sadly, never in the US. I miss the cute palettes but their newer makeup is actually very pretty as well.

I didn’t realize how much I missed it until ran across this adorable Teddy Bear Eye Shadow Set at Forever 21. I had to bite a nail not to buy it.

See it below!

The makeup is probably crap but OMG he cute little bear and the teddy bear inspired shades! Love! If you have a younger tween in your life that loves makeup this would make such a delightful gift.

I should buy one right? It’s only 8 bucks…I mean I need a Teddy Bear Palette in my life right?

Someone stop me.

Get it at forever21.com but don’t blame me if it’s cuteness overload. Oh, by the way, Forever 21 now carries Pony Effect!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Wasn’t this brand sold at Ulta about 10 years ago? I’m positive I got a few of these and loved the little containers that held the makeup.

Oh my, this is so cute. I think I can relate to you. The makeup is probably not that good but we definitely need a teddy bear palette in our stash. 😀

I remember Pupa at Ulta (maybe 15 years ago). And Tony & Tina, Sugar, Lola, Jacqua…

    • Isabella Muse

I think you mean Sephora. Sephora used to carry Pula, Tony & Tina, Sugar Cosmetics, Lola 🙂 Not Ulta.

      • Kristin

No, it really was Ulta! 15 years ago the closest Sephora to me was in Short Hills, so I was only there once. This was def Ulta. When they d/c’ed the line I remember my friend & I got a bunch of stuff on clearance.

        • Isabella Muse

Wow! I really can’t remember Ulta carrying any of those! I do remember Sephora though having them 15 or more years ago!

When I was going to Italy on a semi-regular basis, I always picked up Pupa kits for gifts. Their regular makeup line is great too, but sadly impossible to get over here.

I find it rather funny that a brand born it Italy can’t be found easily! Jeepers 😀 I really like the seasonal LE items, much of Asia gets them and they are easy enough to track down and get shipped to the US thankfully!

Omg I’d forgotten about the Sweet Secrets until I saw the video! Checked out the teddy bear palette and it’s not there anymore, maybe they sold out, lol! I used to love Pupa but it’s not easy to find in the UK anymore.

    • Isabella Muse

omg they did? ha I didn’t think anyone was as crazy enough to buy it like me!

  • Maria

I cannot find it at Forever 21. Is this no longer available? Would really love to give these as gifts.

i actually ordered the teddy bear palette, or tried to. it wasn’t included in the package, and there was a note saying it was sold out.

and yes, i’m old. i loved Sweet Secrets! every time i’ve tried to explain them to folks they’re like “oh, you mean Polly Pockets?” noooo. Sweet Secrets were so much better.
i also loved my Dolly Pops.

from F21 i also ordered that mattifying lip primer – because i thought the packaging was pretty. and while i haven’t used it under lipstick, i tried it by itself and it’s so bizarre, it is like a translucent, clear lipstick.

don’t look now but f21 has a black kitty cat shaped palette now… but i don’t like the colours in it as much as i did the bear one! the outside sure is adorable, though…

OMG got the same note! I was so sad lol! Haha I have the same issue with polly pockets vs sweet secrets 😀 Oh gotta check that one out!
