The Best Thing I Seen Today is Stamp On Brows

You gotta love the beauty world because there is always something new, exciting, and of course, gimmicky around every single corner. At the moment, I can’t help but feel like Benefit gets the the gimmick award for their new Theyre Real! Duo Eyeshadow Blender Beyond Easy Eyeshadow Duo and Theyre Real! ShadowBlender Beyond Easy Eyeshadow Applicators. Basically, Benefit decided to reinvent L’Oreal’s The One Sweep Eyeshadow.

But the best thing I seen today in the beauty world is stamp on brows.

i-Envy by Kiss Brow Stamp contains a ink pad-like brow powder that you can press one of two sponge brow “stamps” into that it comes with. After loading up your “stamp” you simply bring it to your brown and stamp it on.

Hmm…

Considering not everyone has the same exact brow shape I’m intrigued by the two shapes of stamps they include. Will it work for my fuller, busier brows? What about people that have thinner brows? Will you end up with brow powder all over the place?

Hmmm…

The good news is i-Envy by Kiss Brow Stamp is a mere eight bucks at amazon.com.

The bad news?

It probably doesn’t work.

What are some interesting yet gimmicky beauty or makeup products you’ve run into lately that had you shaking your head?

Do share them!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. This stamp-on brow would be good for someone like my mom. Maybe. Her hands shake a lot on some days and she has white-blonde brows, so stamping something like this on would be handy. It kind of looks like you only get one option for brow shape, one for left and one for the right, though. If that shape isn’t your look, you’re kind of out of luck.

that would work great but the fact the stamps are kind of one size fits all probably won’t make it a great pick!

As if giant black Instagram brows that look like road stripes painted on by the highway department weren’t enough. I sure hope this…. thing… wins some kind of WTF award from you at the end of the year!

HA! I just saw this yesterday while I was searching for the Wing It Stamp! LOL I ordered it, for the wing, not the brows. BTW, I know this is off topic but I didn’t know where else to post it. I got the MAC In The Flesh Palette and it is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS in person, but dang, the quality of the eyeshadows and the color pay off is SUPER disappointing. 🙁

They actually work quite well for me. I have moderate, very ash blonde brows. I am just not talented enough to free hand and the stencil aren’t my jam. Sometimes I need to fill the in a little more but overall I’m a fan.

Hello Muse! What IS your fave and easiest brow product for now? This one looks awesome because I have (if I do say so myself) pretty perfect brows but chemotherapy will be taking them (and my lashes I guess) soon and I want to know what might be easy and fuss-free for me to use during the time when I won’t have brows at all. 🙁
Any input from you or your loyal followers?

I don’t use brow powders/pencils 😉 I have bushy, full brows so I avoid adding any powders/pencils to them! I don’t really have recs since I don’t use them but maybe someone else can chime in and recommend something 😀

I bought brow stencils for my Mom when she lost her eyebrows due to chemo. There is a left brow and a right brow stencil in the package I bought and LOTS of each….but my Mom didn’t use them and she gave them back to me. She is not a makeup person at all, so buying these for her was a long shot. I admit I tried to use them myself just to see if it would work, but they are for bigger eyes than I have – they simply are not the right size or shape brow for me. However, I do love the stencil idea.

A friend of mine went through chemo and lost her brows so she saved up and had them microbladed. It’s a pricy procedure ($300-$600 depending on where you live) but it looks very natural and lasts a year or two. A cheaper option (one I currently use because I have very light brows) is the etude house peel off eyebrow tint. It’s not a perfect solution but it tints the skin itself for a few days and is very cheap for a tube.

Lol! It sounds like the fish Botox big puckered lip I’ve seen many women carrying. One size works for all is just doesn’t seem right.
I have decent eyebrows but like to enforce the color a bit and full the up. So far I really like the Elf gel/brow kit the lighter one is a perfect match for mine. I have WetnWild comes with little teeesers and brush, Pixie also has a great one in this teeniest little square with darker, lighter and and a highliter all powder. No.7/Boots has such a pretty kit with powder/gel and a gel lightest pink highliter comes with a spooky brush and separate gel brush.

The eyeliner wing stencil that comes with a gel pot liner and brush is the .most gimmicky thing I’ve seen lately. Also the wing liner stamp- which tbh I’m kinda tempted by…
