Sephora Favorites Power of the Petal for Skincare Lovers

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

I’ve been trying out a lot of new skincare recently. I’m just on a skincare kick lately especially since there are a lot of new offerings in Japan that I’m testing out at the moment! I think Spring always makes me feel like spoiling my skin a little more so it looks good with more natural makeup and less coverage. If you’re feeling the same way you might just love this new Sephora Favorites Power of Petal Gift Set ($38) that includes a slew of different products from Esdtee Lauder, Fresh, Farmacy, and other brands!

The set is inspired by Spring things like plants, fruits, and flowers.

You get:

  • Caudalie Resveratrol Lift Face Lifting Soft Cream
  • Estée Edit Pink Peony Overnight Water Pack
  • Farmacy Hydrating Coconut Gel Mask with Echinacea GreenEnvy Deep Moisture (Cucumber)
  • Fresh Rose Face Mask
  • Karuna Age-Defying+ Hand Mask
  • L’Occitane Almond Milk Concentrate
  • Shiseido Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Pure Retinol Express Smoothing Eye Mask
  • SK-II Facial Treatment Essence

The set is $38 bucks and available now at Sephora.com.

P.S. Last week’s episode of Riverdale had an interesting rendition of Out of the Blue by the Chromatics. As a Neil Young fan I wasn’t quite feeling it. I do like the Battleme version though that was played on Sons of Anarchy. Google the Devo version, that’s always oddly creepy to me!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. brilliance! I’ve seen him perform it live as well a few year’s ago but he was a bit rusty!

Speaking of Sephora. . . are they going to have their April VIB sale this year, do you know? I am trying to remember exactly when it was last year, and how soon before the sale did they announce the date, but can’t figure it out. I hope they’re still doing it.
Also wondering if they’re going to do that sun safety kit, where you get a ton of different travel size sunscreens, a cute bag, and they donate part of the proceeds to a skin cancer group. I loved that last year (even though I still have yet to touch some of the samples!)

I haven’t heard anything! Not sure if they plan on it or not! But will def post when info becomes available! Hopefully they do a new a sun kit 😀

Man, I need to get on board with Riverdale. I keep meaning to watch it, but I keep forgetting!

What Japanese goodies are you testing out right now? Do share! I’m just about finished up all the skincare I bought from Japan last October and am scratching my head wondering what I’ll replace them with now. It does not help that the skincare I bought was expensive even in Japan, and it’s marked up even more through ebay, amazon, etc. Skincare woes!

It’s pretty good although it makes me feel old watching it lol! new blue label hada labo (whitening/brightening formula), finally got the Chosungah 22 Van Jill Essence (korean though not Japanese), new biore watery essence spf (appears to be new packaging though, not a new formula), fancl’s white washing powder, Shiseido Kanebo new lotion, and Shiseido d-Program Allerbarrier Essence BB! I got some new makeup to test out too 🙂 I’ll have review for much of it soon!

Thanks! I can’t wait for your reviews. The Shiseido products sound interesting. If you haven’t already, have you tried Kanebo Suisai cleanser/exfoliator? I love that stuff, and this is coming from someone who gets her chemical peels at the dermatologist’s office. It is fantastic!

They expended the perfect whip collection with a bunch of lotions and essences. I don’t get on well with Easy Whip as it dries my skin out but the essence sounded interesting 😀 The pods? I haven’t. Sasa is always sending me emails about them haha! Can you use them nightly or do you limit use to once or twice a week?
