About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Well, the hard candy makes more inherent sense than that UD powder mix-in.

I want to try the Tarte mask but that price tag seems steep.

The Hard Candy drops were a major fail for me. The formula is thick, sticky and clumpy and the dropper just doesn’t work with such a viscous formula. It’s not very effective, either. I tried mixing in, under makeup, and over makeup and each time it pilled up and offered little to no mattifying results.

oh no that sucks. and I was going to buy them too as I get a bit oily in the Summer!

The Hard Candy drops are grossss!! They’re so chunky you can’t use the dropper, so you have to scrape them out into your hands. And they feels chunky but thin *shudder* Oh and the tube is less than half way full.
