Lush Ice Blue Soap Review: An Easy Way to Get Your Boyfriend or Husband Into Lush

This was provided to me by a brand for review but all opinions expressed are my own

Wanna get your hub or boyfriend into Lush? Lush Ice Blue Soap is your in ticket. This way if he’s into Lush too you can justify all your purchases and never bicker about your odd bath and body addiction again.

See? Not only makeup reviews but life lessons from the Muse.

I typically recommend Demon in the Dark for the husbands and boyfriends out there but Ice Blue might just be your in for converting the man in your life into a Lushie.

I personally don’t like it. Like Freeze, Ice Blue has an odd herbal note to it that doesn’t quite agree with my nose. I prefer straight off mint and Ice Blue brings that to the table with a cool, crisp, refreshing blend of peppermint goodness. But I think they add a hint of citrus to it which gives a more masculine scent that should appealing to the dudes.

Hey, if you like minty soaps you might just love it as well!

There’s a hint of sea salt in here as well which gives it a herbally fresh from the ocean scent. It creates rich lather and rinses clean away leaving skin with a cooling sensation.

As for me, I don’t really love it but I can’t deny it’s the ideal introduction to Lush for a guy. So if you’re busy having relationship woe over your really bad bath and body product addiction this is the way to your man’s heart. It might just be a welcome experience for the two of you to shop Lush together. Ice Blue could be his gateway drug.

Tried it?

Love it?

Does your boyfriend/husband use it?

Do share!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I can never get my boyfriend in to lush, because he does not like how much it costs. But, he will use it if I leave in the shower!

I love how it looks like a block of the sky, or oceany icebergs. How large is this bar btw?

I’m definitely curious about this! My fiance likes the Dirty soap and fragrance (which I also love and sometimes try to steal. He tells me it’s boy stuff, but I tell him it’s not SPECIFICALLY for boys…)

I haven’t got it, but if the smell is like Freeze I know I’ll love it. It’s the only shower gel I always have in rotation. See, it’s not my favourite scent(I prefere Twilight or It’s raining men far more) but it’s like a scent cleanser to me. I adore sweet smells but after a while I feel saturated; then I use Freeze for a couple of days, feel refreshed, start over. I don’t know if it makes sense, but it works for me.
PD~ My BF loved Freeze but hated Dirty, even though they were both minty. He said without the herbs and the oranges of Freeze, Dirty smelled just like toothpaste. I kind of agree.

Looks very cooling indeed. I don’t think I could get my boyfriend to use something like this though. It’s nowhere near manly enough, lol.

How did you know this is what I got my boyfriend for his birthday?! ;D Its been maybe two years, I got it along with Demon In the Dark (YUM), which he admitted he liked when we were in LUSH a couple weeks before. It was a win-win situation: he smells good and I get to cuddle someone who smells ah-mazing ~

This sounds absolutely refreshing! Thankfully I didn’t have an issue with introducing Lush to my hubs because he loves nice-smelling bath products too! In fact, he’s the first to unwrap and use them when I bring more home!
