Tony Moly Magic Food Banana Hand Milk Review
For those of you just discovering the joys of Korean beauty might I suggest picking up this cute Tony Moly Magic Food Banana Hand Milk ($9.99) with your next Ulta or Ulta.com purchase.
Because, well, it’s freaking cute plus it smells nommy nommy!
Tony Moly recently launched an entire Banana Skincare Collection in Korea and I was surprised to see it arrive so quickly within US stores but hey, now that Tony Moly is sold at Sephora and sold at Ulta it isn’t any great shock right?
Fruit shaped hand creams and fruit shaped skincare are such a thing in Korea and Japan. There are literally hundreds and hundreds of hand lotions shaped like a variety of different fruits in Japan! Don’t get me started or we’ll be here all day discussing them all. Needless to say fruit shaped beauty anything is cute right?
Tony Moly’s little hand milk or hand lotion is shaped like a little banana! Apparently this contains banana extract as well as milk protein and shea butter to keep your hands smooth and soft. For those sensitive to fragrance beware as this is strongly (and delightful in my opinion) scented like a banana taffy. It’s a very sweet candy-like fragrance that reminds me of Laffy Taffy! It smells delicious to say the least!
The formula has a soft, almost whipped consistency that absorbs easily into skin and leaves them nice and soft. If you have drier, rougher hands this likely won’t provide much moisture but if your hands are fairly soft this adds a nice layer of light moisture and fragrance.
Sadly, the price is incredibly high as in Korean it goes for around 6,000 won where as here in the it is $10 bucks so about a four to five dollar difference in price here in the US.
Do you need it?
Probably not but it is damn cute and smells damn good so why not right?
Available now at Ulta and Ulta.com.
