About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

Wow. I’m a sucker. I purchased the new matte palette the day it was released from Too Faced and still haven’t received it and now it’s 25% off. Customer service says my order is still being processed. Never again.

My Monday Venting …. what is going on with Too Faced? Where is the customer service for this company? So so many complaints on Instagram FB etc. I have an order that has been sitting “in process” for nearly 3 weeks. No response via any social media platform nor by phone. I don’t purchase to much from this brand but a brand that does not have adequate customer service is not a company I care to purchase from (anywhere). Today I am calling one last time for find out what the status of my order, I will dispute charges with my CC Company. Hope others do as well. If a brand any brand has customer service available on social media platforms it needs to be attended to.

Be warned: I ordered from TF the day these launched (March 15th) and a label was created on March 24th — but I’m still waiting for the package to ship! Also, TF charged my credit card the initial day of purchase as well as the day the label was created. Good luck trying to get a customer service rep on the phone: I was on hold for nearly an hour this past Friday and finally hung up in frustration. I will never, ever order from TF again.

agreed. Done done done! Same experience. if they would just communicate with their customers, it would go a long way

      • melanie

I so agree… Communication is key. Experience high volume of orders please expect a delay up to… This is the first time I ordered from the website directly and won’t do it again. I am some what happy to hear that others are experiencing the same issue..

Still no shipping and unresponsive to inquiries. I’ve disputed the charges off my credit card bill…at this point I have no reason to believe it will ever ship.

I just tried using the promo on Melted Clover and I got an error message stating that code is not valid on the Clover collection.

    • Isabella Muse

They seem to have changed it, worked yesterday now excluded I’m sorry!

  • AmandaT

I tried using the code and received an error message stating ‘Discounts are not valid on the Clover Collection’. So sad!

    • Isabella Muse

They changed it quickly :-/ Worked yesterday. Right now works on Festival Collection and It Comes Naturally, clover is now excluded 🙁

  • Ann-Marie

Oh bummer I missed this discount! I ordered one of the new palettes from toofaced.com on March 15 and just it was just shipped YESTERDAY, March 26 🙁

    • wendy

I ordered mine on the 15th and mine hasn’t shipped yet. Really pissed off about it as I could have had 15% off a Macy’s and now could have just gone to Ulta for it.

      • wendy

I wrote them a nasty gram about getting my 25% off. Not that it will do any good, but I feel better LOL

  • Carol

I agree with all of you. I did not order any of these palettes but I would be pissed off had I ordered it the first day and now it’s on sale. They are really starting to lose customers because of this. I learned my lesson as well to never order a palette on its release date because lately, it seems they go on sale within weeks.

Great idea writing to TF, Wendy. It may be for naught but they will never know unless we voice our displeasure. If they give a damn about their customers — especially repeat customers — TF should do something. I don’t complain unless I feel it is warranted, but I’m not one to suffer in silence. I don’t think it’s asking too much since I’ve had other companies respond positively when I’ve reached out to them with valid concerns.

    • wendy

Thanks Christina. I told them that I realize my business probably doesn’t mean much to them, but that if they didn’t make this right they would like lose me and I would tell anyone that would listen on instagram about my experience. LOL

  • Christina D.

I wrote to TF via their website. I don’t expect to hear back from them, but if they’re interested in my business they sure as sh*t better have an apology, explanation, or even better, a 20% refund of the full price.

I remembering ordering from Muse Beauty (of course they are awesome with a name like that!) an item that took a bit longer than expected to ship. To make it up to their customers, they sent an additional free palette — Viseart, nonetheless. On another occasion, I ordered from Melt Cosmetics and the very next day, they had a sale. I was a new customer, but I called their excellent customer service and they were gracious enough (and smart enough) to credit me back the difference. Now I’m a loyal Melt Cosmetics customer.

    Are you listening TF?

  • Dee

I emailed TF on Friday and heard back that the order was still being processed (I placed an order the day this was released) I emailed again and said if this was still being processed could they please cancel my order…and I brought up the fact that there was now a discount on their website for their new releases. They responded that they couldn’t cancel an order that was being processed and there was no way to give me the discount. They said I could return the palette but would have to pay the return shipping. I told them that I should have waited a week to order from Sephora and that my package would have been in my mailbox already.

Got an email today that, finally, my order has shipped. But I’ve learned my lesson about TF. I’ll never order off their site again.

Dee, I got a ship notice on Saturday….the package still has not shipped. They merely created a ship label.
