Bobbi Brown Camo Luxe for Fall 2018

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

It’s Fall so of course, camo everything is bound to be back in style and Bobbi Brown Camo Luxe is a makeup collection that embodies all things camo with an interesting assortment of eyeshadows. Neiman Marcus has some of the earliest pieces in this new makeup collection and they are pretty unique and edge-y for Bobbi Brown.

Here’s a look!

Bobbi Brown Camo Luxe Collection Eye and Cheek Palette ($75) isn’t a terribly unique collection of eyeshadows but the item that makes this palette unique is the very interesting Highlighting Powder in Warm Glow which is a warm brassy gold!

Shades:

  • Eyeshadow in Bone, Wheat, Cool Grey, Warm Glow, Cool Brown, Smokey Brown Metal, Sparkle Camo
  • Highlighter in Warm Glow

Bobbi Brown Camo Luxe Collection Eyeshadow are really where this collection gets interesting! The shade Jungle is a particularly gorgeous duochrome green. These look like a cream but they are a powder which can be applied wet or dry.

Bobbi Brown Camo Luxe Collection Nail Polish $16

Bobbi Brown Camo Luxe Collection Long-Wear Gel Eye Liner $27

The collection lipsticks as well which haven’t yet popped up!

I’m quite curious to see this collection in stores as it’s one of the more interesting Bobbi Brown Collections I’ve seen in a while!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Ooh. I’m a sucker for a duochrome shadow still. They don’t grow old for me and Jungle is giving me peacock vibes. It’s so pretty. The highlighter looks amazing in the palette but swatched it doesn’t look that unique (at least in that photo) so I’m not sure if I could drop coin just to look at it. Easy to make that decision when it’s wet and wild different story when it’s Bobbi Brown. Lol. Btw, I got some of my tutti-frutti Too Faced make up and Morphe/Jaclyn Hill stuff in the mail today And I really like all of it. I’m especially in love with the strawberry blush. The apricot is a little too light so I’m going to exchange it but the foundation was great too and I’m not having a problem with the two eyeshadow palette I grabbed from Morphe/Jaclyn Hill. They weren’t patchy or anything like other people were stating so maybe I got lucky. The colors weren’t anything spectacular but everything blended very easily for me and was plenty pigmented. I picked up one of the glitter eyes from two-faced and I like that too but it’s very fast drying. Have you gotten any of your stuff yet? Can’t wait to hear your reviews. Hope you’re having a good week.

            Thanks 🙂
But that pic is a year old. I had someone I love very much die in a car accident last year, and you cannot believe how much that has aged me in the last year. Seriously, my face has aged 5 years, it’s catching up with me Muse. I can’t hide it anymore lol

          • Isabella Muse

Wow, I’m so sorry Wendy I had no idea. My heart goes out to you. I wish I can give you a big hug!

          • Wendy Sue

Thank you Muse, it was a rough year, but I’m doing much better now. I don’t cry everyday anymore, maybe once a week. Life goes on, and somehow you learn to live with it!

          • Isabella Muse

I’ve never loss anyone super close to me Wendy and the idea terrifies me as I’m not sure how I’ll cope with it. I can just imagine how you feel 🙁 You’re right life does go on but it’s freaking harder when you have to deal with death and losing the people you love. And also having to worry about your sis recently 🙁 I’m sorry babe! I’m always here if you need an ear!

          • Wendy Sue

It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.

Thanks for the support Isabella! Ditto! anytime you need me, I’m here for you!
            You’re a real sweetheart 🙂

          • Isabella Muse

The eyeshadow singles look gorgeous! Pass on the palette though, the colors look too similar and like they might end up blending muddy.

Muse, do you ever use Viseart stuff? I recently bought the golden hour palette and really like it! I’m starting to invest in more high-end makeup and wean myself off of buying everything new that TF, Bare Minerals, Tarte, etc. come out with. I feel like those brands are starting to cater more towards younger folks and I feel like I’m being aged-out since I just turned 30, LOL!

    • Isabella Muse

I was thinking the same! Yes on the singles, naaa on the palette! yes! Really like their stuff! I have the golden hour! Such a great palette ;-D I don’t blame you. A lot of it is poorer quality lately 🙁 And yes, they really are hitting a younger market. Sigh! But you aren’t old and don’t let anyone tell you that you are! 😀

  • Andrea Vecchione

The eye shadow single is pretty, but the polishes are really gorgeous. Sadly I am poor and they are going fast. Oh well, I have a ton of Pretty Serious polishes coming to me soon.

    • Isabella Muse

Don’t worry I’m sure they’ll be plenty to go around as we get closer to Fall! 🙂 I never tried Pretty Serious! Off to google!

      • Andrea Vecchione

They make some great polishes and most of the collections a geek themed. Right now they’re getting rid of all their stock and will be back in the new year with new stuff. There’s not much left, but if you see something that grabs your eye, grab your wallet, because the discount code CLOSING gets you 50% off.

Can’t wait to see what they come out with next year.

        • Isabella Muse

thanks! I’ll have a peek ;-D I’m not much of a polish girl but I def like doing my toes ;-D and geeky themed yes please 😀

  • Mary Brenner

I picked up both nail polishes as I am a true nail polish border! As for the rest of her collection it’s a pass for me, I have found her product quality to be really poor for the price she asks.

    • Isabella Muse

lately her product launches aren’t really the quality from the past but she isn’t around again anymore either so who knows what changes they made!

  • Christina

Those singles are really pretty! I think I passed right by when I was at Nordstrom because Bobbi Brown isn’t really on my radar anymore, but these are so nice I might have to pick at least one item up.

  • Lisa C

I really like it…curious to see it in person! I already know I want that gel liner!

    Cheers Lisa

Have had both the Camo Palette and Jungle Luxe eye shadow for about a month and have to say they are both really very good. I didn’t really plan to get the palette just the jungle luxe but there was a 20% off online for a few days in the UK so I just went for it and got both. The highlighter is great but so are the shadows – especially Smokey Brown metal shadow (2) and Camo Sparkle shadow (4) which are really the main limited edition colours in the palette. Am getting some really good and varied looks from the palette and wearing for work and evening. I even wore to a wedding at the weekend. The smokey brown is great with some gold sparkle such Moonstone luxe eye shadow dabbed on top for a softer look – I suppose I should try with the highlighter on top sometime.

Am a big BB fan but also been let down by the palettes in recent years hence I didn’t plan to buy but actually this is really good – and the pigments are decent. The colours are so lovely and flattering – neutral but not boring. Am actually swithering on buying a back up Camo palette but for the fact that I have so many barely used palettes and it would just be for a back up of the Smokey Brown shadow really!

And yeah the Jungle Luxe is as great as it looks!!

Fantastic glad to hear it! thanks for the update Lee-Anne because a lot of people were really concerned about the quality since Bobbi has been a miss lately!
