About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Yassssss! I am HERE for the heavy metal line. Distortion has been a long time fave and I cannot wait to get the gel! And I’m loving the expansion of the glitter liners. Seriously the best glitter liner/topper I’ve used! I love the perfect concentration of glitter/swipe and the non-sticky clear liquid base. I’m thinking Gunmetal and Starfire. That Viper 24/7 liner looks great too.

I am all about this collection! I can think of any number of looks I’d like to create using Dreamland and Stonewall! I need those in my life!

My only issue with this is that they’re donating sales from only ONE shade of the entire slew of new products. I get that they’re trying to make money, but in this case some of that comes from capitalizing on people’s identities (not to mention the weird softcore vibe from a few of the advert pictures). Why not sales from one shade of every new product, or hell, even from the whole collection?

While I won’t wear these (I keep glitter strictly restricted to my nails), I do like the look of them and can’t wait to see what people come up with!

Too true! Too true! Valid point! It would have been nice to see donations from the overall collection! Softcore? Really? Ha! I didn’t really notice that now I have to relook at the promo images! 🙂
