New and Exciting Makeup and Beauty at Target

If you live on the West Coast you’re likely getting your kiddies ready for school! If you’re on the East like me you still have almost a month to go. But either way Back to School is sort of already happening since the end of July. Stores around here started putting out school supplies and such at the end of July. I felt like the middle of July they already started clearancing out bathing suits and Summer decor and started pushing college decor, supplies, etc…! I personally love this time of the year. Summer is still here yes but the nights start getting a little cooler and you can feel a bit of Fall in the air in the early morning. Like today it was a bit chilly out when I left for work and it felt like autumn was creeping into the air.

A lot of people don’t want to rush Summer away but I can’t say I mind much. I love Fall and I’m already starting to gather up Halloween decor.

This also marks a time for a lot of new makeup, beauty, and skincare releases! Target always has some great stuff to pick up and I’m always browsing around the site checking for the latest goodies!

Here’s some new and exciting makeup and beauty available at Target.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

School starts next week here. I think those days of waiting until after Labor Day are going the way of the dinos.

  • Dee

School has already started out in CO! Crazy early.

    So ready for fall though.

  • Deborah

That cleansing milk sounds fabulous! Our target just got a remodel and the beauty section is huge! There are some new brands. Sadly, they got rid of makeup geek!
Our schools go back after Labor Day. That’s pretty new. They had been going back the second week of August but they changed it. I believe they said it was to boost tourism.
I have not felt a glimpse of fall yet but this weekend is supposed to be cooler and not humid! Yay!

    • Isabella Muse

Mine never had makeup geek boo! 🙁 Where are you located? Here in NY typically it is after Labor day ;D It’s a bit humid today but the nights are oh so much cooler thank god!

  • Kish

I’ll have to go look for the St. Ives stuff! I’m still getting settled in Texas, just finished my first week of work. I could use a treat.

    • Isabella Muse

How’s texas treating you! and omg you need to send me your NEW address again lol! I have a box for you under my desk for like 5 months! jeezzzzzzzzzzzzzz I am horrid!

  • kjh

Target BTS and Walmart/BB&B season. Heaven. Got psyched about new Zoeva @ Ulta. Ordered 2 palettes, bec, I only have~10! Another love. Hope they expand Z color cosmetics. Their LLs, in 3 formulas, are pretty sweet. Brushes, too. Around Boston, some schools start minimally before LD, but most still start the Tues after for an entering class, and the Wed. for returning students.

    • Isabella Muse

ha! ;D enjoy them! 😀 It’s so weird for me to hear school starting before LD!

Texas is experiencing its worst heat of the year so far right now. School in my area starts on the 15th. It will probably be 98-102 degrees on that day. When I went to school it usually started around the 23rd of August, and it was always hot. Often the school air conditioners would break under the strain. If they had any sense, they would not start school until after Labor Day. It would be okay to end the school year in mid-June if necessary, to avoid the intense August heat. June is usually not intensely hot (it’s hot, just not as hot as August most years).

    • Isabella Muse

omg those poor kids! I hope they have ac! I’ve always gone back to school after Labor day. Typically it was around the 5 or the 7 of September when we started our first day!

  • Liz

I’m dying to try the strips to scrub!
Have you seen that Dove has bath bombs? You should try and review please!

  • Jada

Thanks for this round up!! I definitely have to check out some of these products- especially the cleansing milk!

  • Kimmyyy

Uhg, y’all are so lucky it starts cooling down in your area this early in the year. It’s lava hot and humid here on the coast of Texas until almost December. Don’t get me wrong, I love my state and am super grateful we at least don’t get much snow where I live, but this wet heat is just the worst sometimes!
Anyway, I’m interested in the cleansing milk and lip scrub, so I have to keep an eye out for those! 🙂

    • Isabella Muse

Texas is harsh! I like having the four seasons here on the East Coast. I can’t cope with heat that long haha ;-D I def want to try the lip scrub!
