Sephora Holiday 2019 Rouge Preview Event Starts Today for EVERYONE!

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

As you know already know by now the Sephora Holiday 2019 Preview Event starts September 14th in stores but as per tradition the items did not pop up online at Sephora.com yesterday! The event is held every year and gives you an early sneak into the latest Holiday 2019 Makeup offerings. On September 14th you could head into stores (you can bring a friend too) and some of the latest makeup, skincare, and beauty picks for the Holiday 2019 season. They’ll even had a free tote available during the event.

The event also happens online typically but this year they refrained from posting the items right away at sephora.com. Rouge Members got to shop early yesterday and today everyone else can snag the preview items. All are available now on sale at Sephora.

I’ve already featured two of the offerings during the sale which are the Too Faced Christimas Cookie House Party and Tarte Winter Wonderglam Luxe Eye Palette. But of course, there are plenty more.

Jump ahead for the items available during the Sephora Holiday 2019 Preview.

    About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

I always get the perfume sampler, if nothing else, and maybe one as a gift. This year I will pass. The last sampler I bought – had 15 samples. Other than the KVD Saint and Sinner, this new sampler matches the brands one-for-one, and of the 13, 8 are the exact same scents. If there was more variety, I would purchase. I haven’t found one I like enough yet to redeem my certificate – I don’t need a second one! I’ll have to find another gift for myself.

      • Isabella Muse

The sampler is always nice bc of the redeemable voucher for a 1.7 oz bottle. It’s a clever gift! But yeah, they don’t switch up the scents nearly enough to warrant purchasing it unless you buy it as a gift for someone maybe!

        • Carol Webb

OH it is a great value! I don’t want to deter anyone from purchasing it, and it’s a fantastic value if you get a discount. And it is great for a gift, I absolutely agree, i have purchased many as gifts. And I love spending $65ish and getting a $125ish Tom Ford. And I’ve bought many scents that I would not have tried otherwise. If I have any other samplers on my wish list that are still available I will be purchasing during the sale.
I work at home, I had a bad day at work, my last sampler was on my desk because I use it every day trying to decide what to get, I was taking a well-deserved break looking at your blog, and I complained. Excitement at a new sampler? Yay! And then, not so much. Perfume makes me happy….this lack of variety didn’t make me happy.
Thanks for taking the time for all you do for us people who read what you write every day – you have never steered me wrong. Except on Flowerbomb which made me sneeze….. but I can forgive that. 🙂 have a great day from someone who appreciates what you do so very much.

          • Isabella Muse

OH MY GOD WAIT! Don’t apologize! Please share any thoughts you have! Complaints, rants, raves 🙂 anything at all! And I hope your night is going better than your day did! I sympathize! Work has been hectic for me lately and everyday feels like a bad one phew! Well not bad but def stressful ;D awwwwwww thank you so so so so so so so much! this made my day so much nicer ;-D I really appreciate that. Haha yeah, flowerbomb, that’s a hard sell ;-D I have a love/hate relationship with it haha! HUGS!

I have always wanted to go to this event, but haven’t because I’m a VIB. I’ll be crossing my fingers that they include us too this year.

    • kjh

I’m just thrilled that there’s a Nars blush palette that isn’t whining Come To Mama! The problem with going to the event is that you wind up getting things that you should have waited for on sale later, lol.

      • Isabella Muse

lol like a target run! go in for one thing, come out with stuff you didn’t know you needed!

    • KLE

there are a few things I want to try from this event; do you know when it goes live online? I haven’t seen anything yet in the app or online…

      • Isabella Muse

it was suppose to go live today it appears they are either waiting until tomorrow or Monday to release online?

    • Melissa

I went this year and was honestly disappointed. Every other year they make it a fun event – coffee, snacks, lots of artists offering to demonstrate things …. this year there was none of that. It was just an empty store shopping experience. Now, that could also just be my Sephora “♀️ That being said, the one thing I was most interested in, the Nars blush palette, they didn’t have a tester of bc they weren’t sent many. So without being able to test it, the colors were too likely to not work for my skin to purchase. I was slightly disappointed by the holiday offerings as well. I mean I bought a Sol de Janeiro kit bc it’s always a good deal, but otherwise, the rest of the offerings were meh for me?! I did enjoy wandering around and looking at new items without the crowds tho

      • Isabella Muse

you aren’t alone a lot of people said the same! I didn’t go I had some other plans but last year wasn’t that great either tbh! It’s def nice to grab gifts early before they sell put (lately it’s so unpredictable figuring out what will go on sale and what will be gone quickly! I did it from my PJs early this morning though! No crowd, no aggressive sale reps 😀 hehe!

    • Kelly

Any news on the annual holiday buxom gloss set? Can’t find anything and definitely want to get one this year!

    • Rebecca Gray

I went to my stores event in Franklin, TN and they had not received any of the sets. They had received nothing for the event at all, including the duffle bag with purchase. There was literally no point in my store opening early. It will be the last event I will waste my time going, too.

    • Laura Van Winkle-Preston

I’ve never gone to a Rouge event so I decided to go to this. So disappointed! I thought people would be there talking about products or showing and teaching techniques or something. Nothing. No welcome gift and I didn’t even get the bag they promised for spending $75. Supposedly the welcome gift was getting to look at all the stuff at the front of the store.

Also since this was in the mall, all the mall walkers just came on in and were looking around.

    • Dominique

Is it me or it’s quite weird that the usual Kat von D holiday palette hasn’t been released yet ? She’s usually the first in line with Sephora and their Rouge event..

      • Isabella Muse

True!! KVD seems to be holding strong at Sephora so some news is bound to pop shortly!

    • D. May

Great job sweetie!! Good stuff! Thank you for such informitive information!<3 So excited for the holiday season to come!! 🙂
