Natasha Denona Triochrome Eyeshadow Palette Arrives But I’m Not Quite Into It

Natasha Denona Triochrome Eyeshadow Palette ($129) launched at sephora.com today which is great news as you can use HOLIDAYFUN to snag it at 20% Off if you’re Rouge or 15% Off if you’re a VIB but I gotta admit I’m not even slightly tempted by this one. This contains fifteen shades and four of those shades are multi-chrome finishes. From the photos it looks like these shades will have a color shifting effect. I’m prob the only person alive that really isn’t color shifting eyeshadows! That would be one reason this doesn’t appeal the second is the color story seems all over the place. There’s some pastels, there’s some jewel tones, there’s a few warm shades, it’s just a mix of everything and my brain is feeling confused. Think this actually feels like an early Spring 2020 launch especially considering the Natasha Denona Holiday 2020 Collection is completely separate from this launch!

What do you think of it?

  • Kinetic (purple/pink/muted green metallic)

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I think it’s nice, but not for that price point. I have no problem buying luxury makeup, but for fun vibrant eyeshadows, I typically stick to smaller brands or Colourpop because I’m not going to use them all that often. I think this palette would have been better in her smaller format.

You’re not alone. I want to love duochromes, multichromes, etc., but they just don’t look that good on me because I have smaller lids. What ends up happening is I get a muddy look, and sometimes I find the colour shifts don’t all compliment the crease colours that I want to use. I buy them for fun sometimes, but I rarely use them.

I don’t mind spending $129 on her palettes but she’s done much better palettes than this. It’s just really a weird shade range for me. Same here! I like the idea and I like how they look on others but I don’t like how they look on me. I have the same issue! They all look weirdly muddy on me!

I…. love it?! I have pretty much missed out on the palette trend because they’ve all been so warm and/or pink and those colors just do not flatter me. This is so different and so exciting. I barely wear eyeshadow (small, deepest eyes – what’s the point half the time?) and we’re experiencing unemployment right now so I won’t be buying, but I like it a lot.

That’s ok! haha 🙂 don’t question yourself ;-D You love what you love! I’m not quite into it. It’s just not really catching me! I’m sorry to hear that! I hope things get better for you VERY soon! Good vibes coming your way from me!

I rolled over out of a deep sleep at 4 am, checked Sephora to see if it launched yet, purchased it and rolled back over to sleep lol. Needless to say, I wanted this BAD. I have 100+ palettes atm and nothing has really sparked that kind of interest in me in a long, long time. I can see why it wouldnt be a lot of peoples cup of tea, but for me….its new, fresh, gorgeous and inspring. I just love when a color story makes me FEEL something and this did just that 🙂
