We’re All Banned from Buying Bath & Body Works Candles and Hand Soap At The Semi-Annual Sale Don’t Say I Didn’t Warn You
Ok, we’re a week away from the Bath & Body Works Summer 2021 Semi-Annual Sale and we need to work on some ground rules before it begins.
Number 1: We are all banned from candle purchases until Fall 2021!
Think about it…!
You have a lot of candles! I know you do. You’re all proud Basic B1tches like me which means you all adore Fall and everything needs to smell like Pumpkin Spice everything in your house when the cooler weather sets in. You can save your pennies now for some Fall Candle action or you can spend it at the Semi-Annual Sale when the deals probably won’t be all that great anyway. I’m leaving the choice up to you here but I think you should put yourself on a solid candle ban during the sale. I know you’ll do the responsible thing….! And I’ll be waiting in the wings to pat you on the back, give you a dorky thumbs up, and congratulate you on just saying no to that 80% off candle.
Number 2: Do we really need more hand soap?
Remember last year when everyone and their mother was telling you to WASH YOUR HANDS! I mean, Andrew (our governor) was quite fond of telling us this, Doctor Fauci reminded us daily, and there were signs and posters demanding you WASH YOUR HANDS everywhere! Facts and real talk here but they haven’t met all of us have they? We are the girls and guys that have bottles of hand soap in our beauty closets that will last us until the next century. We stock pile it for the day the dead walk the Earth. Also, was no one washing their hands before the pandemic? I’m amazed people don’t have 1800 bottles of hand soap in their closet…Is that only us? Naa can’t be! I remember my mom being all panicky about not having enough hand soap and how it was disappearing off shelves. I was all, “Mom, I got you!” and I left like 200 bottles of Bath & Body Works Hand Soap on her porch.
So, we don’t need anymore hand soap. I think it’s safe to say we can skip that too right?
The moral of the story please shop with your head and not your heart!
