Too Faced Cinnamon Swirl Eyeshadow Palette Reminds Us Of Good Times at the Mall

Too Faced Cinnamon Swirl Eyeshadow Palette ($49) is a new, limited edition cinnamon-scented palette that’s launching for the Fall 2021 season that contains 18 eyeshadows. I’m sure many of you have caught your first look at the Cinnamon Swirl Eyeshadow Palette as its been circulating on Instagram since late last week. It’s a palette that gives a nod to those old school days spent walking around the mall, buying earrings at Claire’s, heading to Bath and Body Works for a haul, and finally ending up at the Food Court where you purchased that big old messy cinnamon bun that you ate every bit of but it probably gave you a migraine later on because that’s a lot of sugar.

I used to be a mall rat. I loved the mall! There was something so fun walking around the mall, window shopping, and just enjoying the vibe. I feel like malls haven’t aged well and the experience isn’t as exciting as it once was. I’m not sure who we can blame for that but I imagine the main culprit would be the Internet and online shopping. When did we all become so closeted in homes that we can’t venture out to the mall to grab the item we so desperately want versus shopping for it at home in pigtails and our PJs. Malls here in New York are pretty dead and stores really have super limited inventory which has forced us to shop online.

But I do love the little nod that the Too Faced Cinnamon Swirl Eyeshadow Palette gives to the Mall’s Food Court because really, that was the best part about going am I right? Who didn’t want to eat ice cream, fresh baked cookies, and gooey cinnamon buns? Going to the mall was like going to a County Fair! There were so many things to eat and you came home with a stomach ache after a trip. To this day, I can’t resist stopping to get a big old pretzel with a bit of pizza sauce on the side to dip! Yum!

Along with the Cinnamon Swirl Eyeshadow Palette, they’ll also be a Melted Matte Lipstick in Cinnamon Bun which will be sold for $22.

I don’t think the palette brings anything new to the table. If anything it seems very reminiscent of the last year’s Pumpkin Spice Eyeshadow Palette. It’s hard to say with stock images.

I’m one of those sad people that like matchy-match shades and this palette feels like it may be all over the place in terms of color pairings but I’ll have to see it in person before deciding.

I will say it’s probably not a must-have. Pretty sure the shades will be easy enough to dupe across the many other Too Faced Eyeshadow Palettes I already own.

Will you be hauling the Too Faced Cinnamon Swirl Eyeshadow Palette?

Ill probably add this to a points haul. I cant resist these cute palettes every year! Re. Malls, I totally remember the buying cheap jewelry, stickers, Bop Magazines and the eats. In my mall in Brooklyn it was Shatkins kinishes, OMG. Somehow the big mall here on LI still gets crowded. They even built a new luxury wing in the past few years. They love it out here!

I WISH! I missed the mall traffic and the hum and buzz! Here’s it’s dead dead dead! It’s sad 🙁 I wouldn’t mind enjoying a crowded mall right now!

Oh my goodness, I just love your description of a trip to the mall. Before Covid, my favourite thing to do on Fridays was to hit the mall on my way home from work. I’d buy a chocolate treat and a little something from Sephora. Once Covid hit, I really missed those times. Buying online is super easy, but just not the same. I might get this palette because I skipped getting last year’s!

even before the covid I sort of stopped going 🙁 which is sad as I really used to enjoy it! and now with covid, I miss it so much! We want what we can’t have 🙂 I think you’ll do well with this if you don’t have last year’s version 🙂

Aw I miss the mall too . I really like pink/purple side but the bronzes and browns maybe too much for me as I have quite a few palettes with similar colors . I did like last years Pumpkin Spice palette though.

I’m not sure if I’m going to get this palette. I’ll wait for reviews.

However, malls are still very fond, nostalgic places for me. As a kid, I’d go to the local mall with my mom and grandma every Saturday morning. We didn’t have cinnamon roll places back then but we’ve always had Auntie Anne’s pretzels and I consumed so many of their cinnamon sugar pretzels growing up. The pretzels make me feel sick now, though.

Hey Isabella, long time, I am late to the party as usual work, work, work is all I do. I purchased this about 3 weeks ago, half off at Macy’s, I swore I would never get another Too Faced Palette, and all I can say is I am glad it was half off. I would have been pi**ed off if I had paid full price for this cr*p. My Makeup Geek shadows, which this reminds me of color wise, last way longer. No matter what eye primer I use these colors do not last, and some of them just blend into one color after 4 hours. I thought for sure the colors would pop on my brown eyes, well they do when they merge into one color LOL.
