Sephora Savings Event Spring 2023 Dos and Don’ts

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

The Sephora Savings Event for Spring 2023 starts this Friday, April 14th for Rouge Members and runs through April 24th using code SAVENOW. This entire time you can save 20% off your order both in stores and online at sephora.com. The code is limitless and allows you to place as many orders as you like during the sale duration. Both VIB and BIs also get a chance to shop using the same code however, the dates and discounts are different. VIB Members get 15% Off starting April 15th thru the 24th and BI gets 10% off from April 18th thru the 24th. During this time you can also save 30% off the entire Sephora Collection line including their wonderful selection of makeup brushes! The discount is major if you’re a Rouge Member since you can grab some luxury items at 20% off which rarely go on sale at such a steep discount! But if you’re a VIB or BI it isn’t as always as good and sometimes sales from the brand directly are better. Here are a few points and dos and don’ts to take into consideration when shopping for the Sephora Savings Event Spring 2023.

Do Shop the Sale During the SaleThere are some steep discounts on make and beauty already at Sephora. Check out their sale section while you’re shopping because you can enjoy an extra discount with the SAVENOW code. Here’s a few that might be worth a haul: Pat Mcgrath The Golden One Eye Shadow Palette Star Wars Edition $20 after 20% off, Urban Decay Naked Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette $20 after 20% off, Pat Mcgrath ChromaLuxe Artistry Pigment Star Wars Edition $17.92 after 20% Off, and Maison Louis Marie Discovery Eau de Parfum Sampler Set $12 after 20% Off!

Don’t Splurge on Mid-Range Brands
Try to avoid mid-range brands during the sale such as Tarte, Urban Decay, and others as they typically have bigger sales which are 25-30% off your total and it applies to everyone which means you don’t have to be a Rouge to indulge. Plus these sales happen often so you aren’t missing out.

Do Stock Up On Luxury Beauty and Fragrance
Chanel, Dior, Tom Ford, are just some of the luxury brands you can snag at 20% off as a Rouge Member. A lot of these brands do on sale at Macy’s, Nordstrom, Saks, etc…but typically, it’s at 15% off. 20% is a great time to look at luxury brands and see which ones don’t go on sale or go on sale at less of a discount and indulge.

Do Take Your Time but Don’t Snooze on Popular Items
Take your time! There’s no rush! Even BI gets a few days to shop the sale! Yes, sadly, things do sell out. If you feel it’ll sell put it higher on your wish list and grab it first. You can take time with other items like older releases that likely won’t sell out. This also gives you time to consider if you really need it.

Do Start Your List Early
It’s ok to start adding stuff to your cart or wish list now. You can always revise it later! It’s a good idea to put it in your cart now and the closer you get to the sale you find yourself deciding, “Hey, I don’t really need this right now!” It happens to me quite often as the frenzy wears off a bit as I get nearer the sale and I end up deleting a lot of stuff.

Don’t Go Overboard
Keep a level head. 20% Off is a generous offer on many brands but try to maintain a level head when shopping. They’ll be more sales! If you can wait to purchase stuff, wait…! Don’t put yourself in debt because of one sale.

Have fun shopping! I look forward to hearing what you’ll be hauling! Please do share your tips and tricks during the sale as well!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. Great post – lots of helpful tips!! Not sure I’m going to get anything as I’m just BI (as of the past probably 4 years)….I tend to buy everything from Ulta these days – taking advantage of their “extra points deals”. As I’ve been working from home for nearly 3 years now (and don’t wear makeup on a regular basis anymore), I rarely buy luxury beauty items b/c I will doubtfully ever get my money’s worth (even w/ discounts). Happy shopping!
