Lush Sympathy for the Skin Smells Just Like a Banana Smoothie!
I almost forgot how much I love Lush Sympathy for the Skin Hand and Body Lotion until just recently. I stopped into Lush recently when I noticed they were sell Dear John (you need Dear John in your life by the way). And I wanted to quickly rush out for a number of reasons one of which is the aggressive sales reps that want to demo bath bombs and two I tend to get into trouble at Lush and want to buy everything.
As I was clearing a path to the cash register with my Dear John loot I noticed Sympathy for the Skin on the shelf located off to the far right of the register. It was sitting there, shining like a beacon in the night, and I had a flash back to my first Lush purchases. I remember one of my very first Lush hauls included a pot of Lush Sympathy for the Skin and I recall it smelled like like banana smoothie.
I tend to store it in my fridge in the Summer and it feels oh so incredible on my skin not to mention it smells good enough to slurp. I swear if I could I’d drink this! It’s packed with vanilla (they use real vanilla pods to create it which accounts for the tiny specks you’ll see!) as well as fresh bananas, almond oil, and cocoa butter.
It’s actually one of Lush’s thinner body lotions yet still manages to have a creamy, light consistency that absorbs easily into skin without leaving it greasy or sticky. The best part? It literally leaves you smell like bananas all day. I tend to pair it up with a coconut based perfume which ends up making me smell like the tropics.
