Hard Candy 1,000 Lashes Primer Review
Everyone on the look out for Hard Candy Spring/Summer 2010 should have located it by now. It’s at your local evil empire ahem Walmart. I had to head to two as it was picked over in a major way at the first shop. You know me I HATE Walmart but I was on a mission to get a few pieces for a friend to try so I actually headed to two different Wally World’s to see what the good word was.
So yes…it’s in store.
Anyone locate it?

Hard Candy 1,000 Lashes Fiberized Lash Weave Primer was a completely spontaneous purchase for me…

A fiber primer for use prior to mascara that’ll set you back a mere $6!
If nothing else Hard Candy 1,000 Lashes is interesting and cheap. It’s basically a packed fiber primer that you use prior to mascara to create fuller, fatter lashes. If you like fiber mascara, you’re bound to love this. It’s packed full of fibers so it kinda looks like a mascara wand full of lashes…does that sound terribly gross? Shrug, it’s true.
It sports a simple brush applicator. The formula is made up of both fibers and a conditioning whitish gel (no worries it won’t turn lashes white!). It does add a fair bit of length when used in conjunction with your mascara plus with patience during application you’ll notice lashes look fuller.
I personally hate mascara or primer with fiber since it feels like I have an eyelash in my eye. Since this is loaded down with fibers I feel the need to rub my eyes, ugh, worst feeling!
Application is a little tricky as for some reason it’s difficult to get the fibers onto your lashes. It takes a fair bit of brushing and building up to get a good amount of product on your lashes.
- Anyone who wants a cheap primer to boast their current mascara!
- Anyone who likes fiber mascaras or primers.
- Anyone who has a mascara that isn’t doing the job of lengthening or making lashes look fuller (combine that crummy mascara with this and chances are you’ll see decent results).
- Anyone who wears contacts (fibers could prove irritating).
- Anyone not keen on feeling like they have something in their eye.
It’s not the best mascara primer by any means but it is cheap and does a half way decent job of getting lashes to look fuller. I think it makes a fine companion to mascaras you may have tossed on the side that aren’t working for you as this has the potential to breath new life into what you probably dubbed as garbage.
Not really fantastic but not bad either.
It’s six bucks so it can’t hurt to try it!
