Fresh Sugar Mint Rush Freshening Lip Treatment for Minty Fresh Lips

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Fresh Sugar Mint Rush Freshening Lip Treatment ($24) is the latest Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment to launch for the Spring 2019 season. I’m surprised they didn’t go with some new shade for the latest seasonal launch but I guess they are starting to run out of colors to do! I’m just throwing it out there that I would totally buy a Pantone Color of the Year shade! A bright, coral would be gorgeous for Summer lips! If you’re listening Fresh please get on that!

Anyway, back to Sugar Mint Rush! This new moisturizing and cool, minty lip balm promises to provide 24 hours worth of hydration with a blend of oils such as jojoba, grape, and avocado.

I have to admit I’d probably be more tempted if this was tinted but as a transparent minty lip balm only? It’s a little expensive!

Fresh Sugar Mint Rush Freshening Lip Treatment is available now!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Becca Glow Gloss has a very minty scent/sensation on application, if that’s something you’re looking for. I didn’t know that when I bought them, and I would’ve probably avoided them if I had known because I do believe peppermint oil poses an unnecessary risk of irritation to the skin and lips, but they’re pretty glosses (I got Foxglove and Dahlia), and otherwise comfortable, so I feel OK using them once in a while. They were half price at Ulta when I got them.

Not really looking for minty really but I don’t mind it! Glow Gloss is lovely stuff and a lot more pigmented than this for the price ;-D

TonyMoly mint lip balm is half the price and I love it. No way would I pay that much for a plain lip balm.

It doesn’t make any great claims, and definitely needs reapplying, but my regular daily (when I’m not wearing lipstick) balm is Boots own brand in mint. Its a whole 1.

I used to love the Fresh Rose lip balm, but I finally realized that it wasn’t doing anything amazing for me at nearly $30, so I stopped buying it. I’m currently obsessed with the Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Oil, which I like waaaaay more, especially considering it’s made with better ingredients and is much cheaper. If I want minty lip balm, I’ll just grab BB regular balm.
