I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Heads up Melt Cosmetics fan girls and guys the brand is now being sold at sephora.com and at Sephora or it will be starting 05/17 (06/07 in stores).

Melt Cosmetics has gained notoriety in the indie makeup world since 2013 and is well known for their “eyeshadow stacks” which typically include four to five eyeshadows which stack together. They also recently launched two palettes one of which is the Smoke Sessions Eyeshadow Palette and the other is the Twenty-Seven Eyeshadow Palette!

It’s to see Sephora taking such an interest in indie makeup brands lately.

Are you a Melt Cosmetics fan? Happy to see them being sold at Sephora?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I like their shadows. They are spendy, though, for sure. Also have seen on YT some folks saying their shadows like exploded especially the metallics. I have 2 palettes and that did not happen to me so far.

Apparently, it’s only happening with the “Smoke Sessions” palette. I have the other two palettes, as well as most of the stacks, and I’ve had no issues with any of them.

It is about time that Sephora picked up a new, fun brand. Ulta has been leaving them miles behind. That said, i think their stacks are a tad overpriced for what they are. The smoke sessions palette caught my eye because I love greens, but I feel a bit too old for a weed themed item lol.

On the one hand, I’m happy products will (hopefully) be available in-store, but on the other, Melt has difficulty keeping their own site stocked, so I wonder how they plan to meet the extra demand… I have a feeling this venture is doomed to fail, and I really hope they don’t go the way of OCC…

I always question when indie brands like this head to Sephora and my mind goes directly to OCC as well! Maybe they’ll have a limited engagement like Colourpop! Colourpop was there for the Holidays and disappeared rather quickly!
