Do You Buy Yourself a Christmas Gift?

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Tis the season for gift giving but do you buy yourself a Christmas gift? Maybe indulge in something you’ve really wanted and now that the Holidays are here you’ve finally said yes to?

I do!

I am a very bad shopper because it typically ends up in a buy one for a friend or a family member and buy one for myself too! I also end up buying one item I’ve really wanted but haven’t indulged in throughout the year. Last year, I did a haul from Lucky Scents of a few fragrances that were on my list for ages. And yes, I did wrap them up and I did wait until Christmas to open and smell them.

Maybe I’m weird.

Do you do that too?

What did you yourself this year?

Do share!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I get myself a gift or two. My birthday is a few days after Christmas too.

So far, I bought myself the Tom Ford Soleil Neige body oil.

Remember when you alerted us to an ah-maaaaazing deal on the Physicians Formula Limited Edition Holiday 2019 Ultimate Butter Collection palette at Amazon.com ($17.99)? That was my gift to myself. (Plus art supplies as well as piano lessons at playgroundsessions.com; time to rein myself in now!)

Sweeettt! glad you grabbed that 😀 Also, I love the idea of piano lessons what a great gift!

Thank you so much for the heads-up about the PF palette! However the rest of it works out, I know that’ll be a success!

I bought myself the advent calendar from space nk. I always do an advent calendar for my sister, so I thought I deserved to treat myself this year as well.

All the time. Since my father passed away, the only family members who give are my sister and brother-in-law, and aside from them, there are only my 2 best friends. My dad always made a big deal out of Christmas so it’s never been the same. However, I now have a little (grand) niece and nephew to shop for, so that brings back some of the fun!

Anyway, I’ve been treating myself long before all of that. I always bought myself one nice thing that I really wanted and didn’t expect to get but lately, I buy myself more gifts than I do for other people! This year, all the offers were just too tempting.

Heck yeah I do. And, my husband is not much of a gift giver (or gift wrapper), just not one of his many strengths, so I get things for him to give to me. It works out perfectly. I am already looking forward to wearing the cute boots that fit me perfectly and are exactly what I want 🙂

haha that’s the ticket. My BF is pretty good because we are into a lot of the same fandoms and we’re both pretty big geeks so everything he buys I always end up loving but screw it! I still buy myself a gift or two anyway lol!
