Quick Question Why Did We Want To Roll On Foundation Again?

Serious question, why did we want to roll on our foundation again? Someone remind me!

Who remembers L’Oreal True Match Roller Foundation? It was a cream foundation that launched in 2010 that came with a little roller sponge applicator for application! Just like one you’d paint with! It was a unique idea and hell at the time I even called it innovative. Now I look book and I’m shaking my head thinking what the hell was I thinking?

The best part about this vintage gem is the fact people still sell it for like $22-$25 on the secondary market! Who is buying this at that price? I mean, I’d pay that if I could get my hands on some fresh Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer but not sure I still want to roll my foundation on with True Match Roller Foundation. I think I’ve evolved since 2010…..

Do you remember L’Oreal True Match Roller Foundation?

What id you think of the formula?

Ugh, Dream Mousse Concealer! That was sooooo good!! It’s been years but I still miss it to this day.

Never bought it (looks intriguing though) and am not a big foundation wearer. But do you remember a roll-on eyeshadow? I believe it was Maybelline, somewhere around the mid 2000’s. The packaging was like the old school Maybelline Kissing Potions lipglosses from the 1980’s. The eyeshadows did not roll on evenly and you still had to use a brush or sponge to blend, defeating the whole purpose of the rolling on. Very gimmicky.

I remember but it wasn’t a roller it was a sponge that applied three shades at one time! Very gimmicky indeed!

Maybe it was Wet ‘N Wild that had the roll-on eyeshadow? I ended up giving mine to a co-worker who loved them- I remember she had really big eyes.
