Pat MTHRSHP MEGA: Celestial Odyssey has arrived today for Holiday 2021 and I’m terribly excited. I’ve been veering away from eyeshadow palettes lately because I promised myself I’d use what I have. I have so many it’s a little absurd as I’m sure many of you probably have been doing the same but I did give in to the Pat Mcgrath MTHRSHP MEGA: Celestial Odyssey. I ordered it this morning with the code MEGA10 (this is also the password to get into the site for VIP access) which got me 10% off.
I couldn’t resist this one. I really enjoyed last year’s palette and I think the palettes are just a great deal and a great introduction to the brand if you’ve never indulged before.
The palette contains 18 warmer and cooler shades in five finishes of sateen shimmer, 24K duochrome sparkle, foiled metallic, velvet matte and iridescent sparkle. Personally, I feel it runs warmer than cooler which is fine by me as I prefer that! The shades are jewel-like making them a perfect pick for the Holiday season. The shades are NOT all new. There are about five or six that were available in previous palettes or as singles. I did question my purchase due to the rerun of shades but in the end I was too deeply in love with the palette and just snagged it. Did I need it? No. Did I want it? Yes. A moment of weakness on my part but a happy one.
