New Palettes to Add to Your Sephora Holiday Savings Event Cart

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Does anyone have eyeshadow palettes or just palettes in general in your cart or on your wish list to pick up during the Sephora Holiday Savings Event? Guilty! I do want the new Natasha Denona Glam Face & Eye Palettes that are launching on Friday. These are available in two shade selections and contain five eyeshadows each, a cream blush, and a highlighter. The retail is $59 but during the sale, Rouge Members can use the code YAYHOLIDAY to get 20% off making them $47 bucks. Don’t get me wrong, I do so love some of Natasha’s bigger eyeshadow palettes but these smaller palettes are actually quite lovely and include all the essentials for one complete look.

According to the marketing the formula uses a Japanese technology that delivers an extreme glow. I’m quite familiar with Japanese makeup and I’m not sure what they mean about the extremely glow but I’m wondering if the shadows and powders are a slurry-like texture the way many traditional Japanese eyeshadows are formulated. I would not mind that in the least as I do enjoy the creaminess of a good slurry formulation.

The palettes come in light and dark shade selections. Oddly, I like the eyeshadows in the darker palette but the blush in the lighter one….! The shades just look richer to me. Eep do I need both maybe?! I’m trying to cut down on palettes lately but sometimes releases like this get me.

Here’s some other new palettes you might want to grab during the sales event!

NARS Unwrapped Mini Eyeshadow Palette $20 After Discount
I’m probably alone here but I sort of want these cute NARS mini palettes! NARS launched them in three different shades and each one contains six shades (0.02 oz per shade) each and ladies and gents there’s a Laguna Palette that looks fire!

Huda Beauty Brown Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette $23 After Discount
I, somehow, someway, managed to not purchase all the Brown Obsession Eyeshadow Palettes when they launched! I’m a huge fan of Huda’s formula. I like the firm texture however, I heard these newer ones had a way soft silkier consistency. They are so on my list!

ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starrr Point Made Eyeliner & Eyeshadow Set $27
I admit I have not one but both of the Point Made Eyeshadow Sets on my list! I mean, the names, oh my god the names! Golden Cocoa and Copper Cider? It’s just so on point with the delicious shades in each of the quads! Each set includes a liquid eyeliner in black as well as a quad of gorgeous eyeshadows!

Too Faced Christmas Coffee Mini Eye Shadow Palette $22 After Discount
Yes, please sign me up for all the cutesy 8-pans from Too Faced. I’m a huge fan of these! Compact, travel-friendly, easy to store, and the shadows are quite good. I’ll take this new Holiday one thanks so much!

Charlotte Tilbury Smokey Eyes are Forever Instant Eye Palette $60 After Discount
I typically really enjoy the larger palettes Charlotte does for the Holidays but lately, I’ve been waiting for them to hit the sales rack versus paying the full $75! The new palette features 12 mattes and metallics in smokier shades. I have it in my cart currently and I’m playing with the idea of getting this one. Anyone else?

Don’t kill me but this one is a no from me but the word on the street is people are really liking it. And hey, it might just make a wonderfully icy look for the Holdiays!

Huda Beauty Rose Quartz Eyeshadow Palette $54 After Discount
Oh god yes! Who doesn’t want this one? 18 gorgeous rosy and pink shades? Yes, please! Sign me up!

Pat Mcgrath MTHRSHP MEGA: CELESTIAL ODYSSEY Eyeshadow Palette $63 After Discount
I actually already hauled this beauty. I couldn’t wait. I got last year’s version and was very pleased with it which made purchasing this year’s version an easy choice. It’s 18 beautifully pigmented shades that I was quite happy with performance wise. Def a must for Pat fans!

LAWLESS Mini The Glam One Eyeshadow Palette $20 After Discount
I purchased last year’s pretty pink palette from Lawless and was quite pleased! For Holiday 2021, another affordable palette has risen up with eight pretty mattes and metallics!

Shades include:
Glam (foiled champagne taupe), Angel Rose (foiled rose pink), Blondie (matte beige taupe), Bohemia (matte warm mauve), Fox (matte neutral sand), Sable (matte red-brown), Mystique (matte warm sienna), Caviar (matte velvet black)

I can resist the Huda biggie, if I resisted NewNudes. I doubt I can resist the Nars blush palette. Only 2 dupes for 1 shade and the others unduped, per Christines review. Are those of us who spent little still rouge, like earlier in Covid? Better check soon. I doubt many would agree with the comparison of Huda to Japanese shadows, esp in how they are used. As to the slurry, if it is slurry, make sure you tell us how quickly it dries out.
