I’m not really a body butter girl and this stuff is a bit expensive but it’s totally a guilty pleasure of mine. I must admit one of the main reasons I love it so much is because it smells like Benefit Maybe Baby and you guys all know I love Maybe Baby!
Fenty Skin Butta Drop Whipped Oil Body Cream is $42 for a 6.7 oz jar or $22 for 2.5 oz if you want to try it out before grabbing that bigger jar. It’s a pretty steep investment for a body butter but I’d totally buy it at full price as the scent is incredible and the formula, on my drier skin, is pretty awesome too.
It arrives in a simple lilac jar that reads “Fenty Skin”. The package is basic but very nice. Inside you’ll find a beautifully textured body butter that isn’t too thin nor too thick. It’s the perfect consistency in my opinion. It feels positively sinful on the skin! It has a rich, creaminess that feels a bit oily as you massage it in but not in slick, greasy way! It absorbs very easily and leaves skin super soft but best of all it actually treats dryness almost instantly and leaves skin look very smooth and supple after application. It’s loaded up with a few different oils like coconut, jojoba, aloe, rice, and watermelon plus has it has a small amount of hyaluronic acid.
I’m not sure but I thought this would smell tropical but it actually reminds me of Maybe Baby. So much so I always layer Maybe Baby Perfume with this for a perfect lingering scent. The scent itself actually lingers nicely on the skin but with the addition of Maybe Baby misted on you get an even more gorgeous, stronger wear from it. It’s lightly sweet with beautiful soft floral notes. Very much a Maybe Baby dupe and one of the reasons I love it so much!
Last year, this became a staple in my Summer body care routine since it made my legs and arms so smooth and I’ll definitely be adding it back into my Summer routine again this year. This is well worth a pick-up if you have drier skin but more importantly, Maybe Baby fans NEED it.
