Too Faced Cloud Crush Blurring Blush for Spring 2023

Too Faced Cloud Crush Blurring Blush are new blurring blush launching with the Too Faced Spring 2023 Collection. As you know Too Faced is launching a new pastel eyeshadow palette called Pinker Times Ahead and with that collection we’ll get six new blush shades. I was literally just talking about how I hope Tarte, Urban Decay, and Too Faced so some new Spring 2023 blushes but now I’m sort of disappointed. These new Cloud Blurring Blushes just seem like a rerun of Too Faced Full Bloom Blush from the Summer 2011 Collection.

I’m sad to say I don’t really feel I need these. They appear to be semi-matte and I’m really not into matte blushes. I’d have loved something with a glow or a bit of shimmer. Yeah, I know, I’m alone in wanting that as a lot of people dislike shimmery blushes but I still feel a lot of love for them. Those Too Faced Fruit Cocktail Blush Duos were freaking brilliant! Such a fun color range and the lovely shimmery highlighter was a fun way to amp up the glow.

Hear me out here….Jerrod has been gone for the last two collections am I right? Holiday 2022 and Spring 2023 and already I’m sort of feeling like Estee Lauder is making some major steps backwards. I dunno about you but for a while there I really felt like Too Faced was doing some fun stuff with their launches. Jerrod left and that all sort of went belly up.

None the less, if Too Faced Cloud Crush Blurring Blush intrigues you perhaps you want to haul a shade or two! These have a tropical beachy scent and come in satin and matte finishes. The formula is a velvety powder that they call “cushiony”. Honestly, the promo images are looking dry not cushiony but we’ll have to see them in person. They have a natural blurring effect to give a second-skin finish and contain 93% naturally derived ingredients. The price is $29 and the shade shades are:

  • Velvet Crush (nude pink)
  • Tequila Sunset (muted peach)
  • Watermelon Rain (fuchsia)
  • Candy Clouds (cool soft pink)
  • Head In The Clouds (dusty muted pink)
  • Velvet Crush (nude pink)

Do we need these? I’m probably skipping and might grab one if there is a good sale which will likely be within a few short weeks of the launch.

What do you think of them?

Too Faced Cloud Crush Blurring Blush will be available shortly.

If they are a repeat of a collection from 11 (almost 12) years ago…is anyone really going to notice?

The swatches are nice, but I’m on those gorgeous benefits. I miss Jerrod, because I miss Clover. I’ll be ok if you post more pix of your beauty here, since I don’t want to fall down the IG or any other SM rabbit hole. Chihuahuas rule!

Perhaps if the sale is good enough I will grab a few but I could also take a hard pass. They don’t scream “must have” to me.
