I Was Just a Little Too Aggressive with Lancome Chat Support Today
So, I guess I’m having a case of the Mondays on a Tuesday because I was just a little salty and aggressive with Lancome’s Chat Support today. There is a super fabulous offer today on lancome.com! Anyway, I wanted to snag Idole EDP and Idole Intense. It clearly shows mixed and matched products in the product marketing as well as says “add ANY two items to the cart”. There is a disclosure that says the offer is limited to one per customer. Ok, that’s cool. But the keyword in the marketing is ANY two items. It doesn’t say two of the same items. It says ANY. Well, it doesn’t work. It only works on the same item. Which is great if you need to stock up on items like Bi-Facil. But in the case of perfume, I really don’t need two of the same fragrance. I contacted chat support to make sure I wasn’t using the wrong code (Use code BEAUTYHAUL) or maybe I was doing something else wrong!?
But nope, it’s not me. They were “sorry for the misunderstanding”. Dude. Dudeeeeeeeeee….! I got a little salty with them and said it was a very misleading sale and they should correct the wording on it. I promise I wasn’t terribly rude because let’s be honest, it’s not the chat support person’s fault. But come on Lancome…you’re a big company and when you have a sale people are def going to be excited to indulge but when it turns sour you’re going to have a bunch of grumpy beauty fans.
Oh well. That’s my crappy start to the day 😀 Which isn’t too bad considering the chaos the world is in right now am I right?
