Covergirl Simply Ageless Triple Action Concealer ($12-$17) is a brightening concealer that acts to hydrate, conceal imperfections, and fill finer lines with a formula infused with a Hyaluronic Complex, Vitamin C and Niacinamide. This originally launched first at Ulta and I remember passing out at the near $18 price tag. For a very long time I avoided purchasing it but I was at Target several months ago and came across it at $14 and dove in (you can get it for about the same as Ulta since they always have $3.50 coupons! Coupon code 890693 will get you that discount!). I was convinced I’d hate it and guess what? I did! It has a bit of a learning curve to using it but once you get past that curve you’ll be pleasantly surprised how perfect this especially if you have finer lines or a drier under eye area.

Covergirl manages to create a perfect concealer now let’s hope they keep it around forever because if I have to, I’d totally pay $20 for it.

I have no idea what sort of magic Covergirl has going on with Simply Ageless Triple Action Concealer. This stuff is brilliant. When I purchased and used it the first time I loved the formula and absolutely hated the cooling ceramic wand. This has become pretty standard in newer concealers. Rare Beauty’s Positive Light Under Eye Brightener and Dominique Cosmetics Wide Awake Full Cover Concealer have a similar style applicator. This is a solid ceramic wand and it confused me to say the least. I really wasn’t sure how to use it. Did I swipe it on? That’s originally how I was doing it and I gotta admit some small part of me still doesn’t love this wand. But I think I understand why they decided to go with it. This formula is ridiculously creamy and I think a sponge applicator wouldn’t work as well as the wand. I finally realized after nearly two weeks of using it that the best method was to dot it under my eyes and blend versus swiping it on.

The wand does not, I repeat, it does not have a lot of concealer on it when you remove it from the barrel and as someone who applies a really healthy swipe of concealer under her eyes this was grossly disappointing. Turns out a little goes a long way with this stuff. I do five small dots under each eye from inner corner to outer and that’s plenty of coverage. This is from a girl who packs on Tarte Shape Tape! Crazy right? But that’s all I need. It definitely provides awesome coverage and is plenty pigmented to conceal imperfections such as darkness, fine lines, and puffiness.

Covergirl Simply Ageless Triple Action Concealer Swatches (Creamy Natural)

The real joy of this product is how smooth it goes on. It’s like it erases fine lines. It fills and smooths the area under my eyes instantly and provides light, hydrating coverage that looks natural and brightening. I got the shade Creamy Natural and I WISH someone would create a foundation in this shade. It’s the perfect light medium with peach undertones that works great under my eyes. I’m just amazed at how good this looks under my eyes. It’s so natural and so smoothing! And it wears like a champ! I had no issues with it creasing and it doesn’t fade for a solid eight hours. Simply Ageless indeed! This makes my tired eyes look like I had a little botox and I’m here for it.

Covergirl Simply Ageless Triple Action Concealer is a MUST try. If you haven’t picked this up yet I highly, highly recommend you do! The wand is a little eh but once you learn how to use it correctly you’ll never want to give this little treasure up!

Covergirl Simply Ageless Triple Action Concealer is available now. If you tried it do share your thoughts!

I tried it and hated the wand so promptly put away in my stash. I will pull it out and try again. I wonder too if this type of wand is more hygenic? No clue as you are still putting product on your face and putting back in the tube. In any event, will give it another go!
