Bath & Body Works Halloween 2023 Fine Fragrance Mist Collection Holds Little Appeal For Me

I consider myself the Halloween Queen. I love everything about the Holiday! I decorate our house from top to bottom, inside to out. I go to Disneyland every single October, I dress up, I go to Halloween events and parties, anything and everything Halloween related and I’m there doing it, buying it, eating it.

But sadly, I find little appeal in the Bath and Body Works Halloween 2023 Fine Fragrance Mist Collection. I think I’m broke. Something isn’t right! Do I have a fever? Have I lost my Halloween spirit? Oh wait, I know what the problem is.

You know what my problem is with the Bath & Body Works Halloween 2023 Fine Fragrance Mist Collection is? It’s too grown up for me. I want pumpkin and spice, I want Halloween candy, I want yummy candy gourmands….sadly, these aren’t any of that. Sniff, sob…! Oh well, I get it! I just don’t have to like it.

Is anyone interested in hauling these? Vampire’s Blood is FINALLY a fine fragrance mist. It’s been around since forever and has notes of red berries, night-blooming jasmine and plum. Next up we have Midnight Spell
which has notes of mystic air, moonlit woods and crystal amber. And finally, we have Everlasting Magic with a blend of bejeweled berries, phantom petals and magic musk.

I’ll definitely head into store for a sniff store but I’m really not sure these are a blindbuy item for me. Vampire Blood is actually one I feel like I’ve had enough of for now. I’ve smelled this in candle and hand soap form for too many Halloweens now. I’m curious enough to sniff it just not sure it’ll come home with me. But who knows? Maybe I’ll love it.

Bath & Body Works Halloween 2023 Fine Fragrance Mist Collection is available now online and in stores!

Are you excited about the Bath and Body Works Halloween 2023 Collection? Are is it just a meh for you?

I totally agree with you. I don’t like the vibe of anything in the collection. I prefer a more whimsical style rather than the more gothic. The fragrances also do not intrigue me. I definitely will be saving my money. I have enough candles from last year. Since they have less new scent releases I am well prepared for fall. I have noticed that the body care is all berry scented and I am over it.

I don’t mind the gothic aspect of it but I do prefer the more whimsical one because it’s what I expect from them if that makes sense. Same here on Fall candles. I’m good for a while and don’t need more plus the constant rotation of the same scents with new packaging and new names does my head in. I feel like a killjoy saying that but I dunno, this year seems to be boring for me 🙁 I think Vampire’s Blood would be a great one if they released it years ago in this format. But now that it finally is here I feel less excited about it because I’ve smelled and re-smelled it across a variety of products I didn’t want when what I did want was a body collection now the scent is just a rehash for me if that makes sense : (

I am hoping that they will release more scents. These scents don’t seem that interesting to me.

they have a fall line up as well but this is it for Halloween!

I’m not completely feeling the BBW 2023 Halloween collection. I haven’t been too excited about the Halloween scents since maybe around 2011-2013 when they had the small Halloween lotions, my favorite being Sinful Vanilla. The autumn collection thus far hasn’t been very interesting either.

omg same! I prob made it to 2016 at least but after that I was like snore. This year, it’s particularly unappealing and also, things are mighty expensive lately from BBW! Even after coupons you’re looking at $40+ for a candle holder. They are well made don’t get me wrong but its just not what I expect to pay at BBW!

Yes! The prices are thru the roof…I have a “vintage” (lol) Slatkin candle holder from like 2010/2011 and I noticed just this morning the the price tag is still on the bottom…$7.95!! Back then you could use the free item coupons on anything under a certain dollar amount…I got so many soap holders and candle holders for free that way. BB&W will always hold a special place in my heart but I definitely miss the good old days…

I KNOW!!! OMG I have some older ones too and never removed the price from them and I look at them and I’m like WOW WOW the prices have gone up dramatically. I can see them inching up a bit each year but you’re talking over 50% price raise! It’s insanity.

I got Everlasting Magic and Midnight Spell in a few products each. I liked both of them a lot! But, even as someone into darker scents, they’re just okay. Pleasant enough but not a forever scent. What I smelled of Moonlit Graveyard had potential (I like weirdo earthy scents too), but it was just TOO strong for me. I like the individual scent notes, but it was like being punched in the face by a forest, somehow. Like that poor girl in The Evil Dead movie.

Vampire Blood was not my thing but decent. Ghoul Friend was a cutesy, candy-like scent, which is not my Main Scent so to speak, but it’s cool as a hand sanitizer. I wish Ghoul Friend was released in some other products in the line to give customers more options.

thanks for sharing Jen!!!!!!!!!!! I’m more a gourmand girl! But this year none of the scents really appealed to me sadly 🙁 I did want to check out the new vanillas though!
