Danessa Myricks Groundwork Palette Promises To Do It All

The new Danessa Myricks Groundwork and Defining Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette for Fall 2023 is on the way. Should we even call it an eyeshadow palette? The shades in the palette can be used as eyeliner, eyeshadows, contouring, or even brow filler shades. It consists of 20 shades all of which are matte (one is a semi-matte with shimmer).
P.S. Don’t forget get 30% Off your Enjoy 30% Off your Danessa Myricks Beauty order with code LABOR30. This expires September 4th.
There’s a surprise factor in this palette though! A quick look and you’ll fail to notice that there are actually 10 “velvety pomade” shades in the mix aka cream shades. Things could get mighty messy, mighty fast. I typically don’t like my creams and powders in the same palette but some people may love this color scheme so much they’ll overlook that.
The palette was created for use with eyes, lips, and face and has a curated, essential shade selection in neutral tones for all skin types to be used in everyday looks! One palette, two unique textures for each of the 10 shades.
I hope Danessa doesn’t hate me for this but this palette sort of reminds me of the Tati Beauty Textured Neutrals Vol 1 Eyeshadow Palette. Not the shades mind you, just the way the colors go from lighter to the darker spectrum . At a glance I feel like, mmm, I don’t really like this palette. But if I’m thinking logically I could use a lot of these shades in natural, neutral looks that very office and work friendly. It’s an interesting palette that I think will be quite popular when it launches early this September.

Do I have some fear about the creams? A little. But I may actually consider buying this one anyway.
Danessa Myricks Groundwork and Defining Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette launches September 4th and Danessa is doing a Live later today on Instagram using it if you want to watch it in action!
