No One is Judging You For Creating Your Own Beauty Advent Calendar

Makeup and Beauty Advent Calendars are just as popular this year as ever before. I really thought this trend was over but I was proven wrong! Quite a few different brands have launched different Advent Calendars to countdown the days to the Holiday season. Many are pretty expensive and some come with stuff we really don’t want. When there are hair ties and nail files in your advent calendar you know it’s time to call it a day!
What if I told you that you can make your own Beauty Advent Calendar? For yourself or better yet as a gift for your favorite beauty lover!
Here’s how!

There are a lot of empty advent calendars around! Just go to amazon.com and you’ll find hundreds of them for $15 and up! This Juegoal Advent Calendar is $26 and quite beautiful! But if you really want to go cheap spend $10 on the Target Wondershop Christmas Countdown Punch Box Advent Calendar! It’s cute, affordable, and you can reuse it!

Filling it, is of course, the fun part. Snag small beauty items like Vaseline Sugar Cookie Cutie Lip Balm, Beloved Hand Creams, Burt’s Bees Beeswax Mini Lip Balms, or whatever else your heart desires. I think creating this for someone else is probably the most fun! As doing it for yourself is cute but you know what’s in it which is half the fun! But doing it for a fellow beauty lover makes it even more of a joy as they’ll be surprised with each item they open daily. It’s a rather cute little project if you want to treat someone. Or really, if you just want a little beauty pick me up daily for yourself. A lot of the mini items aren’t terribly expensive to indulge in either plus you aren’t getting nail file and hair tie fillers! You know exactly the fun items you love and can include them in the calendar. I think the best part is it’s completely customizable. If you have a friend who loves hair stuff you can make a hair accessory calendar, if you have one that loves eye makeup you can fill it with some fun budget eyeshadows from brands like J Cat Beauty, Essence, and Catrice! The combinations are endless.
Let me know if you make your own Beauty Advent Calendar! I’d love to hear what you put in it!
