Here’s Why the NARS Lunar Year Quad Eyeshadow for 2024 Is Cool
The NARS Lunar Year 2024 Makeup Collection is now available on the NARS website and should be available shortly at other retailers. This year we’re getting a repromoted shade of Lunar Year Power Matte Lipstick, a Lunar Year Quad Eyeshadow Palette, and a Lunar New Year Light Reflecting Setting Powder. It’s a fairly standard and uneventful collection with repromoted items in bright red compacts giving them that “Lunar Year” feel. But no hate on NARS as this is pretty much always the way when it comes to Lunar Year Collections. New packaging, rehashed shades. It’s a sad reality.
That being said I will give them props for one thing and that’s the Lunar Year Quad Eyeshadow Palette. Yes, it has repromoted shades BUT….here we out.
I’ve been blogging way too long and I’ve loved makeup equally as long but I am in no way an expert at application. I can still use a helping hand when it comes to pairing up shades especially ones in an eyeshadow palette. Sometimes, I’m just not that girl that can easily pair up four shades into one look. I wanna say thank you NARS for including a rather helpful little diagram with your Lunar Year Quad Eyeshadow Palette marketing. It’s actually made me sort of want to buy it (also, the fact it kind of has that Peach Fuzz Pantone Color of the Year 2024 vibe going on helped things along!). I think the color placement diagram was pretty darn nifty and will help people can an easy yet elegant look from the palette.
The question now is do I need anything from the NARS Lunar Year Makeup Collection for 2024? Naaa not really. I can wait for the palette to pop up on sale because I have serious doubts it will sell out. But I’d love on it at a sale price that’s for sure! But still, I gotta give them some hugs and kisses for that cool color placement diagram. A girl like me appreciates the helping hand.
