Everything Tiktokers Are Saying About This Serum Body Lotion is True
Onyx Hydrating Body Lotion and Serum Duo is currently a trending beauty product on Tiktok and I feel victim to another “Tiktok Made Me Buy It Moment” with this little formula. The ONYX Hydrating Body Lotion & Serum Duo in Coconut Bliss is getting the most raves at the moment but I was unable to find it and I have to tell you, before it got Tiktok Famous, I literally passed it by several times when I dared to venture into Walmart. I think my brain was having a malfunction when I saw the line because I kept seeing “Oxy” and it’s actually ONXY. And “Oxy” to be translated as acne so I think I associated it with being an acne body collection. So anytime I’d stop by to stock back up on Body by TPH it would be sitting on the shelf above it and I would just pass it right by.
Recently, it started making the rounds on Tiktok and I realized it wasn’t what I thought it was and I instantly became intrigued by the formula. I mean, a serum body lotion? Ok, I’m a dry skin girl you can sign me up!
I managed to get tube of the ONYX Professional Hydrating Body Lotion & Serum Duo in Sandalwood Vanilla and it set me back around $7 bucks. I also, snagged a a bottle of the ONYX Professional Foaming & Hydrating Body Wash Shake in Coconut Bliss not only because I was curious about the fragrance everyone was going bonkers about but also, because this formula is interesting. It’s a bi-phase body wash! Intriguing! I haven’t tried it yet but I’ll update you soon!
I have however, tried the body lotion serum and Tiktokers weren’t lying this stuff is awesome. I normally like to apply body cream after my shower on damp skin and you can absolutely do that with this but I think it works best on dry skin. It’s a dual-phase formula that’s part lotion and part clear serum. The two formulas will combine as you massage it into your skin. It’s delightfully hydrating! Creamy yet also, you can feel that extra moisture element the serum brings to the formula. It absorbs in a snap and it leaves skin super soft and nourished. The Sandalwood Vanilla is a soft, comforting vanilla with touches of warmth thanks to the sandalwood. The scent doesn’t linger terribly long but it does have a very light, pleasant fragrance. The real joy is the moisture this brings to my dry elbows and knees. My skin is so smooth and touchable after using this.
This was a delightful surprise. I buy a lot of stuff because Tiktoker influence me and much of is junk but this stuff actually lives up to the hype! I highly recommend checking out.
