Here’s What I Purchased at the Sephora Savings Event So Far

The Sephora Savings Event has started for everyone and it’s probably a bleep on everyone’s radar as we prepare for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Sephora just doesn’t hold as many cards as they once did and when the sale rolls around it doesn’t garner the attention it used to especially since many people shop Ulta versus Sephora lately due to the amazing cashback rewards. Somehow, someway, I did make it to Rouge again this year and I did shop the sale for some items I wanted.

I don’t think I’ll go back for anything else. I remember years ago I’d do a few different orders. One for staples, one for items I really wanted, and one for gifts. Nowadays the deals are so much better directly from the brands versus from Sephora. Like Pat Mcgrath’s Holiday Sales are awesome! Up to 30% off and that’s for everyone so no need to be Rouge or have a special member level to get in on that sale. Likewise, for Tarte who does great deals around the Holiday season!

But Sephora still tempts me and does get some of my money! And of course, I grabbed a few things from the sale. I MAY go back for one small order before the sale is over but here’s what I got so far! And PLEASE tell me what you snagged!

I really want hard on concealers this year. At the moment I’ve been loving on Bare Minerals ORIGINAL Liquid Mineral Concealer but you know me I’m such a cheater and never stay true to my holy grails.

I snagged a back up of LANEIGE Bouncy & Firm Eye Brightening Sleeping Mask with Peony + Collagen Complex as I’m about to hit empty on my current one. I really like this stuff. It’s a nice one to use on top of my regular eye cream for extra moisture!

I’ve heard so many good things about adwoa beauty and decided to snag their Melonberry Hair Milk Leave-In Conditioner. It smells amazing! I’m eager to try it out!

FINALLY, finally I grabbed ciele tint & PROTECT medium coverage serum foundation with SPF 50+ and I adore it so far! It’s beautiful! Natural, weightless, brightening! This one is a keeper!

Speaking of lightweight I’m overjoyed the Sephora Collection is 30% off as I was able to grab another bottle of Reveal The Real 12HR Soft Radiant Skin Tint. Love this stuff too! It’s a great weekend tint! Natural, easy to apply, lightweight, perfect for evening out your complexion! This one is another keeper!

Two of my biggest splurges were Sarah Creal Face Flex Concealer & Complexion Enhancer with Caffeine and Westman Atelier Vital Skincare Brightening Concealer With Hyaluronic Acid. They are pretty expensive but I’m hearing so many great things about these two that I needed to see if the hype was real!

And finally, I got what everyone says is the “ultra creaminess concealer”. Valentino Very Valentino 24 Hour Wear Hydrating Concealer! Let’s see if this one is as hydrating and creamy as everyone says!

Share your shop list with me! Did you skip the sale or did you grab some goodies?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. It’s funny (not reallyorr distopian funny ), because in Canada sephora is still has a big hold on the consumer, we dont have ultas or targets and althoughwe can ship the import dueties are outrageous, stores have a no return on open items policy , unless you can prove an allergic reaction, and there a no sales ( unless you count the multiplier points at shoppers drugmart) besides the fact that many brands are only carried at sephors canada. The sephora events are the 2 times a year when I get all my stuff or products I have been lusting. Its interesting how the sephora sales its view different a per country (;tho I agree 20% is not a great deal I do appreciate it and take advsntage of it, also when they have good items on their sale section or black Friday
