What I Brought from Sephora This Week

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

April is around the corner and that means the Sephora Spring Savings Event 2025 should be coming shortly. I’m happy to report that there are tons of new makeup and beauty items I’d like to try but none are tempting enough to not wait for a sale. I can be patient and wait for the next good sale. I have an Ulta $20 off $100 but nothing has caught my eye enough to use it.

I will say I did buy FOUR things at Sephora this week which I wasn’t willing to wait for and that sadly, Ulta doesn’t carry! I wish Ulta had them as I have a slew of points to use up. That being said, I really wanted these items. Did I need them? No. Did I want them? Yes.

Here’s what’s in my latest haul!

I’m gonna say it. I have to say it. The 100% skincare claims are killing me! KILLING ME! It’s the buzz sentence of the moment on Tiktok about the new Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dewy Flush Brightening Serum Blush! Do I believe blush has skincare benefits? Not really. But I still wanted to try these out not because of the “skincare” claims but because they actually look really nice and the idea of a moisturizing, natural flush of color when my skin is so dry from the harsh Winter sounds like a great plan to me! Their surprisingly priced as well at $25. With the way things are going up lately you’d think these would have a $45 ticket price!

When it comes to Laneige lip anything I’m weak! I ended up hauling one of the new Laneige Glaze Craze Tinted Polypeptide Lip Serum because they look delightful! It looks like the formula is a lot more creamier and glossy than the Glow Balm. I’m pretty sure they want to capture the success of Summer Fridays Lip Butter. My dry lips are going to love these I think!

It’s not secret I love light, natural coverage. I’m really into all these skin tints that are dropping lately. We seem to be headed deeper and deeper into the clean girl makeup era and I’m here for it. MAKE UP FOR EVER Super Boost Lightweight Moisturizing Skin Tint with Hyaluronic and Polyglutamic Acids had me at hello! This new hydrating can be applied sheer or built up to medium coverage that leaves a radiant.

Judge me if you must be I did end up picking up Yves Saint Laurent Make Me Blush 24H Buildable Powder Blush in Restless Rose! I saw some Tiktoks of the shade and it’s more gorgeous than the promo images! I think I’m going to really, really love this shade!

What’s your latest beauty haul looking like or are you on a shopping ban? Do share!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I have purchased a couple of things – from both Sephora and Beauty Boutique.

Did buy the Restless Rose YSL blush. Have also sampled the new Prada Rhubarb Infusion perfume and will probably get it at some point.

Because of medical treatment I am receiving, my lips have been in not great shape. So I treated myself to the Chanel purple lip balm (shows up as pink on the lips) and one of the new Dior ones.

I did luck out near my birthday at the end of December and managed to get the set of two lip perles in the case. I got my little discount too.

Same! I couldn’t resist after seeing videos with the shade. It really is gorgeous. Well done YSL. No medical issues but I feel you on dry lips! Mine are cracked and flaky as hell due to the cold, cold winter we’re having 🙁 Great haul 🙂 thanks for sharing!
always love hearing what everyone is buying!

Oh, those are pretty good. I’m trying not to buy, but those first three are making it difficult!

haha same! I’m doing my best to be on a no buy just because I have too much but I was tempted!

I love your picks.. Funny story.. I received a text in the middle of the night two days ago that the watermelon blush drops were back in stock and I willy nilly placed the order right there half asleep.. lol I only remembered this morning and I went back to look for the email confirmation and thankfully I only ordered one.. anddddd I was still smart enough to pick two samples too.. lol

The YSL restless rose blush is on my wish list but the price is higher than Charlotte Tilbury which is my go to makeup. Can you review the YSL blush? Thank you

The Make Up For Ever Skin Tint looks nice, but yet again, it looks like the shade range is completely lacking in fair/light cool shades. It is a pet peeve of mine lately. Most foundations, and especially skin tints, are not catering enough to cool tones.

I feel like finding a shade can be very challenging for me. I’m a light medium with some warmth so I aim for a more neutral tone and if it’s a lighter peach even better but sadly, that’s hard to find 🙁 It’s always too yellow, too beige, or too pasty.

Omgosh please review the makeup forever skin tint when you get a chance, it looks amazing!
