I’m pretty sure I’m going to hell for recommending you just sell a kidney and BUY everything from the Bobbi Brown Desert Twilight Collection.

Just do it.

You can pay the rent, bills, and do grocery shopping AFTER you buy this collection. Who even needs a place to live or food to eat? That stuff is so overrated.

Kidding, obviously…but once you see some of these pics you might consider it.

    Thanks so much for posting this collection! I WANT everything too! Finally, finally a collection from BB which I can get behind 100%. I’m planning on doing my shopping this weekend and I’m pretty sure I’m getting all of what you’ve shown. Have you swatched/tried the tints in a tube? Curious how these wear/look?

    I was so excited about this collection but when I went to the counter I couldn’t get any pigment to swatch . Maybe I’m just too tan for the palletes colors to show up. Cant wait for your review. Might take a second look if you approve.

      hey are sheer Anna! even for fairer skin they are pretty sheer so don’t feel bad about that.

    Oh my, that eye shadow palette is swoon worthy! I’ve never actually tried Bobbi Brown shadow…..how’s the pigmentation and the wear time? I fear creasing.

Oh Muse 🙂 It is a beautiful collection. I may mosey over to the Bobbi Brown counter to look at everything up close. I have no problem dropping $$ on her stuff because I know it’s good. Was looking at MAC’s new collection that came out and I’m like uhhhhhh lol!

      hehe 😀 don’t really do that…well, I mean, you can survive with just one kidney so you don’t technically need both ;-D do go see it, I think the palette is lovely. sheer but I don’t mind, good for natural looks! ;-D oh I did a little damage on mac hauling!

    Omg – can’t wait to see the swatches!! DANG – that’s a nude/purple collex I can get with!! Wow – that’s really pretty… BB’s fall offerings the past few years have been pretty much knockout worthy! This one’s no exception. Wish I had a counter that carried it here – but I can tell more from your excellent descriptions and swatches so am eagerly awaiting those!

    I purchased the twilight gel liner– love it! and the two polishes. As I’ve previously written, the twilight polish is suspiciously similar to LM polish which was released earlier this year— also called twilight.Whats this with “twilight” (still) all over the place? Don’t they know that the “saga” is basically over? Anyway, after using for a week, I do see that the LM polish is more purple, whereas the BB has a more “metallic” finish. I skipped the eyeshadow palette, in anticipation for the BB Nordstrom Beauty exclusive due in July. Hear that one is awesome!

    I’m intrigued by the shade of the gel liner. I can’t wiat to see how it swatches. However, the eye palette looks too matchy-matchy for me. It’s pretty–but I will be surprised if those shadows don’t all look like dupes once on the lid. Same with the glosses.

    Hi Muse! I’ve been following your blog for a while and I love it, especially the commentary! Anyway I was reading this post and read that your’ve never tried Bobbi eyeshadow so as a longtime user I felt that I had to weigh in. I’ve used her eyeshadow for years and got my first palette ever from my mother. Ever since I have always used her bone shadow for making my eyes brighter and have yet to find a true substitute. It wears for a long time on my lids even without primer and never creases on me. In fact I used it to perfect my 50’s eyeliner look to get that crisp line and contrast to get it right! haha I hope this helps though please keep in mind that I have never tried any of her super special collections! kisses from Cleveland!

      aw thank you leigh! thank you so much! oh gosh lol I think you misread, someone asked if I tried this palette yet and I said no but I own and have tried/reviewed MANY eyeshadows from Bobbi Brown and def agree, she has some great shadows ;-D

    I don’t understand why some counters are treated differently. I work in a department store (not cosmetics) and mine has yet to receive it. They told me it wont be out until the first week of July. That gel eyeliner is soo mine 😀 I refuse to order online.. and I prefer my discount! Our MAC is a little behind too..the Heavenly Collection wont be out until next Thursday.

    Muse, I caved and went back to my Nordstrom today and had a visiting MA from Bobbi Brown apply the palette. She did such a beautiful job (a cat eye)- the colors did show up on my eyes, I couldn’t walk away without it. She also gave me a peek at a collection that she said would be out on July 11th to Nordstrom cardholders the 20th for non-cardholders. It had a palette of silver and purples/ with pull-out lippys – a full size mascara, an eyeliner pencil in noir, eye cream sample,and a beautiful metallic pink/beige nail polish. I pre-ordered the lot for $80. Could this be the rumored Nordys exclusive?

    This is so BORING, as usual. BB is just plain and boring. Am I the only one who thinks all the colours from the palette look the same? I mean, 4 out of 8 are practically identical. I only own 2 lipstixks from BB and nothing more because it’s all the same, boring and no fun stuff 🙂
