Maybelline Coral Heat Color Sensational High Shine Lipgloss Review & Swatches
Word on the street is Maybelline has six limited edition Color Sensational High Shine Lipglosses one of which is Coral Heat that I have here in my greedy little hand.
Now to find the other five because I am properly obsessed with the Color Sensational High Shine Lipgloss formula! Best drugstore gloss ever!
Since their launch I have purchased well over 12 shades of this gloss and I’m always looking to add to my little empire.
Let’s take a peek at Coral Heat!
Maybelline Coral Heat Color Sensational High Shine Lipgloss is part of Maybelline’s Summer 2013 Collection ($7.49) and available for a limited time at drugstores. From my understanding these shades are actually only available for the month of May! I hope I am wrong but that’s what my release says.
I think I appreciate the formula so much because they not only provide a glossy finish but plenty of color to go along with that glossiness. This comes with a slanted sponge applicator that saturates well with product which in turn provides excellent application of the product onto lips. I remember wanting more shine from these when I originally purchased them but I have to say the glossiness is fairly good here depending on the shade you use. They aren’t tacky nor are they sticky and they have an intense color payoff with a nice hydrating feel on lips with a huggable formula that wraps lips in color and moisture.
Coral Heat is a surprising shade as it looks like a milky coral in the tube but applies with as a brighter, cooler coral on my lips with elements of peach and coral in the mix. It’s not fully opaque coverage so the pigment of my lips changes the shade slightly but if you have less pigmented lips you’ll be able to get considerably more coral from the shade than I did!
Now I just need to find the other shades in this collection and I’ll be a happy girl with plenty of gorgeous glosses for Summer wear…..!
Available now at drugstores.
