Praise the Bath & Body Works Gods Because Bonfire Bash Is Back (So Is Sweater Weather)

Bath & Body Works Bonfire Bash returns for Fall 2020 and is available now on the brand’s website! Wahooooo! Bath & Body Works Bonfire Bash does not smell like Marshmallow Fireside but that doesn’t mean it isn’t pretty awesome all itself!

This launched for Fall 2018 and contains notes of vanilla bourbon, creamy sandalwood and cashmere musk. I haven’t smelled this year’s juice but the original smelled like warm toasty marshmallow with a hint of spicy vanilla and a hint of smokiness. It’s a very cozy blend. I thought it was fabulous when they originally launched it and I have hopes nothing has changed with the fragrance this year as I hope to stock up! If you like Beach Nights and Boardwalk Marshmallow Clouds I feel like Bonfire Bash will snag your attention!

Also returning is Sweater Weather which is supposed to smell like the candy but is a very weak blend of apples and leaves on a woody base. I can probably safely skip that one but Bonfire Bash will end up in my cart.

Do you love it?

As we head deeper into the Summer we’ll see more of Bath & Body Works Fall 2020 start to launch! I’ll keep you posted.

What are you looking forward from them this year?

As for me? I just want some really good gourmands this year! Something as great as the Holiday releases would be fabulous! Maybe a toasty vanilla blend or a yummy coffee scent. Don’t get me wrong I love me some Pumpkin Marshmallow Latte but I’d LOVE if they did a true hazelnut macchiato scent. How yummy would that be? I know most people don’t want to walk around smelling like Starbucks but I don’t mind in the least! I’d buy it in bulk!

What scents would you like to see Bath and Body Works do in the future?

BH Cosmetics Sugar Shoppe Eyesahdow Palettes Are Giving Me a Sugar High!

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Oh my god! How much do you love the bright, colorful BH Cosmetics Sugar Shoppe Eyeshadow Palettes? Inspired by all our favorite treats like ice cold Orange Sorbet, sweet, sugary bubble gum, and magical cotton candy these palettes contain eight gorgeous shades each!

With such loud, bright colors I’m sure some of you may be concerned with eye safeties. They do call these Shadow Palettes but a look at the ingredients revealed some shades are pressed pigments. I didn’t look over every shade and I just glanced over some of the pigments but the good news is they are using dyes like FD&C Yellow 5 Lake which FDA says may be safely used as a color additive when their specifications are followed. I don’t know a lot about dyes and pigments but this sounds like good news. I’ll have to pick up a palette or two and see if they say anything about eye safe shades. I’ll follow up with this in my review. The palettes are vegan.

The palettes are made up of eight shades four of which are shimmers and four are mattes. They look quite creamy and pigmented! They are priced at $18 each.

I see at least three I love! Sugar Cone which contains all nude browns, Orange Sorbet which has a selection of popping, vivid oranges, and Cherry on Top which has some bright oranges and reds! These really are fun for Summer looks!

Have a look at all

Becca Zero Pigment Foundation and Makeup A Brilliant Idea or a Crazy Gimmick

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Is Becca Zero Pigment Foundation what of the makeup world’s most brilliant ideas or just a crazy gimmick? Picture this. A foundation with zero pigment that blurs and smooths skin giving it a transparent, matte finish. Wait a minute, isn’t that what primer does?

Becca Zero Pigment Foundation contains absolutely pigment. It’s completely transparent so no need to match your skin. Without the pigment it basically enhances your own skin giving it a perfect appearance. It uses Clear Light Blue Technology which is a water releasing powder what burst upon contact to blur the appearance of imperfections. It also contains hyaluronic acid. Here’s where things get more interesting though….! If you’re like me and thinking, “Oh sounds like a primer!” you might be interested to know it is silicone-free! Hmmm! And apparently it controls oil all day while still providing moisture. The gel-like texture is cool upon contact with skin absorbs instantly leaving behind smooth skin.

Interesting right?
