Hate me if you must but I’ll be picking up Dr Brandt Microdermabrasion Skin Exfoliant at Ulta because paying $79 for this stuff is loco. It’s on sale today for $39.50 and that’s doable. It’s a super harsh scrub and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone with sensitive skin but if your skin as tough as nails like mine you might like this one. It has a fine grainy consistency and really goes to down de-flaking my dry cheeks and forehead.

Hard Candy Anti-Chafe Stick ($8) is a new hydrating and cooling stick infused with shea butter and aloe that was created with mask wearers in mind. The lightly hydrating, creamy stick creates a moisturizing barrier to protect skin against chafing. You can apply it behind your ears before putting on your mask so that the loops from your masks don’t rub against the delicate skin behind your ears causing irritation. This actually happens to me! I’ll put a mask and the back of my ears will start hurting a bit and by the time I get home they are all rubbed raw.
The stick can be applied anywhere you need a bit of hydrating on your face or your body. I dunno if it’ll work on your ears the way it says it does but the idea is an interesting one! You can buy masks guards for your masks which will hold the loops in a manner that allows them not to rub against your ears! I got them on Etsy and they are fairly cheaper at around $2-$3 each! But if you want something more moisturizing you might want to check out Hard Candy Anti-Chafe Stick!

Juliette Has a Gun Pear Inc has arrived at sephora.com in both the travel spray and the larger bottles. This is a fragrance I am incredibly curious about. It is slightly weird to release it now as Spring is in the air and I commonly associate pear with being a Fall fruit but hey, I like the sweet smell of a green pear and I can get on board with a fragrance that smells like this.
The fragrance hopes to evoke happiness, positivity, and sunny days! All of which we need right! Sunny, happy days are just what we need right now.
This green pear fragrance has a musky heart. It contains notes is ambroxan, musk and ambrettolide as well! The ambrettolide will likely make the scent powdery. The ambroxan I’m scratching my head on and going hmmmmm! It could go either way with that note but I think the end result will be it lends a woodsy element to the fragrance. Although it’s described as a Fruity Floral I have a feel that Juliette Has a Gun Pear Inc is going to be a lot heavier and warmer than a mere “fruity floral” or a “refreshing gourmand” as per the marketing.
I just grabbed the purse spray as I not only love Juliette Has a Gun Fragrances but I am just terribly curious how this smells!
I hope I like it because the bottle is gorgeous! I love displaying different fragrances on my vanity. My collection is massive and I tend to keep my fragrances in their original boxes but each season I’ll take a few out to display on my vanity that I know I’ll use often. This bottle will look gorgeous hanging out on my vanity!
