Youth to the People 15% Vitamin C + Clean Caffeine Energy Serum⁠ ($68) is a new brightening and firming serum that address hyperpigmentation issues and uneven skin tone. The formula apparently has no funky scent and has no oxidation issues. If you’ve used Vitamin C serums in the past you’ve prob experience your share of weirdly scents serums and oxidation!

This contains plant-derived caffeine from yerba mate and guayusa with a healthy dose of antioxidants.

I’ve been slowly getting into Youth to the People lately after I purchased their new Dream Eye Cream with Goji Stem Cell and Ceramides and absolutely loved it!

Looks like the skincare releases are starting to come fast and furious! I think this year we’ll see A LOT of skincare launches after the Holidays. It’s very typical to see them pop up around Jan/Feb but I think we’ll see even more this year not to mention I think we’ll see a lot of smaller and mid-range brands starting to do a lot more in the skincare world. With so many people staying home lately and paying more attention to their skin it just seems logical that brands take note and start launching more skincare products.

E.L.F Camo CC Cream is a new color correcting full coverage foundation with a natural finish launching on elfcosmetics.com on December 9th. This new formula will be available in 20 shades with SPF 30 and will set you back $14.

It joins the Camo Concealer family which I’m not a big fan of and has made me naturally a little wary to try out the foundation. Camo Concealer is a product I wanted to love as I was so hoping it would be a dupe for my beloved Tarte Shape Tape Concealer but sadly, it was not! First off, the shades are freaky light! I swear I can’t get a good color shade in that formula. It might be great if you contour but as someone who goes lighter with concealer and foundation and does no contouring those lighter shades made me look like a ghost! Secondly, it sets so fast and gave me little time to blend not to mention it was drying and creased badly.

So yeah, when E.L.F. was all like “EXCITING NEWS! We are doing a Camo Foundation to accompany our Camo Concealer!” I wasn’t running around in circles waving my hands in the air. I’m just really wary of anything related to Camo Concealer (even the hydrating version wasn’t my thing).

That being said the natural finish does draw me in slightly! I’ll have to try it and see how it goes before making assuming too much.
