It Cosmetics It Girl Vol. 3 Your Life-Changing Eye, Cheek & Brow Palette ($42) is a limited edition Holiday 2019 face and eye palette that recently launched. I’m actually not much of an all-in-one palette kind of girl. I love eyeshadow palettes, I love blush palettes, but I don’t really like when you mix things together. I don’t find it appealing to have blush and eyeshadow and highlighter slung all into one palette. I suspect this has to do with the fact I’m also the type of person that can’t have her veggies touching her meat or her meat touching her salad, etc…! When I was growing up my dad would tell me, “It all ends up in the same place! Do you think your tummy has separate compartments for each piece of good you eat?” Dad, I don’t care where it ends up I just don’t want it touching when it’s on my plate.

Same goes for makeup! I travel a lot and having an all-one-palette is appealing and makes traveling much lighter but given the choice I’d choose to buy a blush, highlighter, and eyeshadow palette all separate versus together. But the fact of the matter is that I don’t hesitate with these things when it comes to It Cosmetics as they always give really, really good palette. They are one brands that taught me how love matte eyeshadow!

So, I forgive the It Cosmetics It Girl Vol. 3 Your Life-Changing Eye, Cheek & Brow Palette for having all the makeup in one spot.

Dominique Cosmetics Sweater Weather Set ($29) launched today with six matte cool, crisp shades for Holiday 2019. This set includes a 6-pan eyeshadow palette with pinks, purples, and roses a swell as two mini lipglosses in Sugar and Spice.

I gotta admit shades like this always remind me of Spring, Easter, baby chicks, etc…but throwing “sweater” into name somehow magically transforms my ideal of the palette into cold, crisp nights, bulky pink sweaters and gray leggings, a nice warm pair of Uggs…! So, yeah, somehow those images of Spring have been replaced with cool Winter nights!

I dunno if I can pull these shades off but I know a lot of people are going to be excited about the idea of a cooler palette since we’ve had so many nudes lately. The price is very affordable at $29 and the addition of two lipglosses makes it an even nice deal.

The Macy’s Black Friday 2019 Catalog has been revealed and there are a ton of great beauty and makeup deals available! Remember, Macy’s Black Friday 2019 always starts early! These deals will be available starting Wednesday, November 27th through Saturday, November 30th.

I really do think that Macy’s does a better Black Friday than Sephora at times but I have a feeling a lot of the deals we’ll see will be price matched across the board. For example, Macy’s will have Philosophy Shower Gels for $10 and I bet Sephora, Nordstrom, and Ulta will have the same exact deal! Each store tries to out each other every year but in the end I feel like the deals are very much the same no matter where you shop.

I picked out some of the key products that are available on sale but there are quite a good deal more. One of the more notable deals is the Macy’s 25 Days of Beauty Advent Calendar which will be 50% off on Black Friday and includes offerings from Donna Karen, ABH, NYX, Estee Lauder, and more! The retail value is $129 but it’ll be available for $64.50 during the sale.

Another deal worth mentioning is the Philosophy Shower Gels at $10 each. These are 16 oz bottles and this year Philosophy didn’t slack on creating some new Holiday scents like Pumpkin Icing, Vanilla Chocolate Crumble, and a few others. I need more shower gel like I need a hole drilled into my head but these make wonderful gifts. Go to the drugstore or Harmons and grab some shower puffs and some pretty Holiday bags and tissues and you have an instant gift for your secret Santa, co-worker, or mail girl.

Another deal worth mentioning is the fact that all Smashbox Makeup Brushes are 50% Off! There brushes are very good quality (try the concealer one, it’s great for getting into the corner of eyes and covering up darkness)!

Bobbi Brown Overnight Set is a cute $20 set if you want to dip your toes into the brand. This includes deluxe sizes two of my favorite products Vitamin Enriched Face Base and Crushed Lip Color (Shade: Lilac) as well as Bronzing Powder in Golden Light and Eye Opening Mascara.
